1 - Mounting
- Use the provided paper template to mark and pre-drill holes for the enclosure. Install two fasteners (not included), leaving their heads extended from the wall to act as anchors.
- Hang the enclosure onto the two fasteners. Tighten the fasteners securely to the wall. Use two additional fasteners (not included) to secure the bottom of the enclosure to the wall.
2 - Installing Components
- Open the enclosure.
- Install the expansion board into the enclosure using the included standoffs (quantity 4).
- Install the Access Control Core below the expansion board using the included bracket. Secure the top of the enclosure using the included fasteners (not included).

Connect Avigilon readers or Wiegand readers to the designated ports on the Access Control Core. Note: LCD and BZR connections are not supported.
5 - Connecting Locks or Strikes
Wire fail-safe or fail-secure locks or strikes to the appropriate terminals. A fail-safe lock unlocks when power is lost, while a fail-secure lock remains locked.
6 - Powering the Device
Warning: Do not attempt to wire connections within the Smart Hub while power is enabled.
- For installations in Europe or requiring a 220VAC power source, cut the jumper on the power supply module.
- Plug the power cord into a 110VAC or 220VAC power source. An example of a North American power cord and outlet is shown.
