What's Included

Overview

Status LED Indicator

• Solid green: Connected and communicating with the Access Control Core.
• Solid red: Error, check connections. To resolve the issue, try:
  • Power cycle the 4-Port Board.
  • Unplug and replug the USB cable.
  • Restart the device in Avigilon Alta Control Center.

Board Components

• 1 USB port
• 2 Power LED indicators
• 3 Power input
• 4 Status LED indicator
• 5 Board ID LED indicator
• 6 ADMIN button

Installation

1. Snap the included standoffs into an enclosure.
2. Install the expansion board into the standoffs.
3. Connect the expansion board to the Access Control Core using the included USB cable.
4. Connect the expansion board to the power supply using the included power cable.
5. Apply power to the power supply.
6. Example: North American power cord and outlet.

Note: LED and BZR connections are not supported.

Reader and Lock Connections

Connecting Avigilon or Wiegand Readers

Warning: Do not apply power during wiring. Ensure the power supply is unplugged until all wiring is complete.

Connecting a Lock or Strike

Wiring a fail-safe lock or strike will unlock when power is out. Fail-secure will remain locked when power is out.
