Product Overview

The boAt Stone Spinx Pro is a portable wireless speaker designed for audio enthusiasts. It features a cylindrical shape with a fabric grille and a prominent LED light strip on the front. The top panel houses control buttons for power, playback, volume, and mode selection. It supports multiple connectivity options including Bluetooth, USB, TF Card, and Aux-in. The speaker also includes ports for TF card and Aux input, typically located on the rear or side.

Basic Functions

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Long press the power button for 3 seconds to turn the speaker on or off. Note: Playtime varies according to the level of volume.

Bluetooth Connectivity

• Turn the speaker on. Its LED Indicator quickly blinks white until the pairing is done.
• Activate the phone's Bluetooth functionality and search for the name "Stone Spinx Pro" and select it to establish Bluetooth pairing.
• As soon as the Bluetooth pairing is done, the connection is indicated by a sound and solid blue light indicator.

Pair/Unpair

Double press the [play-pause-button] to pair/unpair under Bluetooth mode. NOTE: To go back into pairing mode please double press the button.

LED Light

• The LED light is on when the speaker is powered on.
• There are six LED modes/patterns. You can change modes by short pressing the [led-button].
• Short press the [led-button] to turn the LED light off.

Hands-Free Call

• Under Bluetooth connection status, if there is an incoming call, the user can short-press the [play-pause-button] to accept the call or long-press [play-pause-button] to reject the call.
• Short press the [play-pause-button] or operate on the mobile phone to end the call.
• Note: If your smartphone is disconnected from the speaker due to shut down or switching mode, the speaker will automatically reconnect your smartphone when it is turned on again or switch back to Bluetooth mode.

Modes

FM Mode

• Press the [mode-button] to switch to the FM mode.
• Short press the [mode-button] to start scanning the FM Channels. Once scanning is complete, you can change the channels by pressing the [plus-button] & [minus-button].
• Note: You may use the provided USB cable to work as an antenna for clarity in the FM mode.

TF Card Mode

• Turn on the speaker.
• Insert a Micro SD card into the TF card slot and it will switch to TF card mode automatically.

AUX Mode

• Connect one end of the appropriate cable to the AUX input of the speaker & the other to the external device.
• In AUX mode, you can control the audio playback via the media device/phone.
• NOTE: In AUX mode, it is necessary to carry out the operation directly from the connected external device.

TWS Connection

• Turn on the two Stone Spinx Pro speakers that you require to be paired.
• You only need to set up one of the two units.
• Press and hold the [tws-button] on one of the two speakers for 2 seconds until you hear a sound.
• After releasing the button, it may take a few more seconds for the speakers to connect.
• 1. Activate the Bluetooth function & search for "Stone Spinx Pro" to establish pairing.
• 2. It searches for the other speaker for a few seconds.
• 3. Once both the speakers get connected via TWS mode, it gets indicated by a sound prompt.

USB Mode

Insert a USB drive into the USB slot to play music.

Charging

• When the battery is low, the speaker will make three sound prompts indicating low battery & post that power off automatically.
• The charger adaptor is not included in the package; please charge this speaker via a 5V/2A charger or via PC. A Fast charger of 9V/3A is supported as well.
• During charging, the LED indicator stays solid red; once the charging gets completed, the indicator turns off (the device will fully recharge in about 4-6 hours).
• Note:
  • Please don't use the speaker while it is charging as it may decrease the battery's performance.
  • If the battery is completely discharged, speaker may restart; leave it off and recharge it for at least an hour before using it.
  • When the battery is low, the speaker will periodically emit a warning tone.

Reset

Use a pointed object to prick inside the Aux port & the speaker will reset to its default settings.

NOTE: If the speaker doesn't turn off or doesn't respond, you could use the Reset functionality.
