Radio Frequency Emission Information (SAR) - EU
This device meets government requirements for exposure to radio waves. The device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for radio frequency (RF) energy. The specific absorption rate (SAR) is used as the standard for exposure to radio waves for wireless devices.
The EU Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP guidelines, and Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) define the SAR limit for the public/uncontrolled exposure as 2.0 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of tissue.
During testing, this device transmitted at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. It was tested in positions simulating RF exposure when worn close to the head and 5 mm from the body.
SAR values are based on measurements taken at 5 mm from the body. It is recommended to use the device at least 5 mm from the body to ensure acceptable RF exposure levels. To ensure compliance with RF exposure regulations when wearing the device close to the body, use belt clips or cases without metal components that maintain a minimum distance of 5 mm from the device to the body. Compliance for RF exposure when wearing body-worn accessories containing metal has not been tested or certified and is therefore not recommended.
SAR Certification Information (SAR Limit Values)
SAR limit for 10g: 2.0 W/kg.
Head SAR: 0.983 W/kg, Body SAR: 0.997 W/kg (at 5 mm).
