Safety Notice
- The device is suitable for 12V power supply (requires grounding). Do not connect it to 24V power supply in trucks or buses.
- Use genuine discs; incompatible discs can damage the device.
- Do not replace the fuse without qualified personnel; it may damage the device or cause fire.
- Do not watch programs or operate the device while driving to avoid accidents.
- Do not disassemble or repair the device without authorization. Contact a local car audio distributor for assistance.
- Do not expose the device to moisture or water to avoid electric shock, damage, or fire.
- The mechanical drive part of the monitor uses an automatic precision transmission component. Do not force, push, rotate, or impact the TFT screen.
- Do not insert the audio plug of the vehicle directly into the master unit. Use the provided dedicated end cable.
- Prevent metal objects from falling into the unit through the vents during installation to avoid short circuits.
- The backup monitor function is for auxiliary view only. BOSS Audio Systems is not responsible for accidents during backing.

Unit Installation
Step 1: Attach the 2 brackets to the left and right sides of the unit.
Step 2: Secure the brackets to the unit using screws.
Step 3: Adjust the brackets forward or backward as needed for installation.
Remote Control Operation
The remote control provides access to various functions:
- 1. TURN ON/OFF: Powers the unit on or off.
- 2. EQ mode: Selects equalizer modes.
- 3. EJECT Key: Ejects the disc.
- 4. CLK Key: Clock setting.
- 5. MODE Key: Selects system mode.
- 6. MENU Key: Returns to the home menu or previous source.
- 7. Audio KEY: Accesses audio settings.
- 8. SUBTITLE Changing Key: Changes subtitle language.
- 9. Direction and OK Key: Navigates menus and confirms selections.
- 10. MUTE Key: Mutes audio output.
- 11. REPEAT Key: Sets repeat playback mode.

- 13. ROOT Key: Accesses DVD root menu.

Panel Introduction
- RESET key: Resets the unit.
- MODE key: Selects system mode.
- BAND key: Converts between FM1/FM2/FM3/AM1/AM2 radio bands.
- MENU key: Returns to the home menu or previous source.
- TURN ON/OFF & VOLUME UP/DOWN: Long press to turn the unit on/off. Short press activates MUTE. Rotate to adjust volume.
- SD slot/USB port: Access media.
- AUX IN jack: Connects external audio devices.
- Eject key: Removes the disc.
Main Menu Operation Instruction
The main menu provides access to various functions:
Main Menu 1:
- 1. Tuner Interface: Accesses radio functions.
- 2. Streaming Interface: For Bluetooth audio streaming.
- 3. DISC Interface: For DVD/CD playback.
- 4. Phone Interface: For Bluetooth phone operations.
- 5. USB Interface: For USB media playback.
- 6. SD Interface: For SD card media playback.
- 7. Front/Rear Camera Interface: Displays camera feeds.
- 8. AV INPUT Interface: For external AV sources.
Main Menu 2:
- 9. AUX IN Interface: For external AUX audio sources.
- 10. Setting Interface: Accesses system settings.
Settings Interface
General Settings (Menu 1)
- Wallpaper: Set custom wallpaper.
- Retain ACC Power: Set delay time for shut down after vehicle powers off (e.g., 2 seconds).
- System Tone: Enable audible beeps for function selections.
- System Language: Select between English and Spanish.
- Parental Disc Lock: Set parental control level.
Camera Settings (Menu 2)
- Camera Trigger: Select Front, Rear, or Off to display cameras based on conditions (e.g., reversing).
- Rear Camera: Enable/disable the Rear Camera function on the main UI.
- Rear Cam Pwr: Enable power for the Rear Camera.
- Front Camera: Enable/disable the Front Camera function on the main UI.
- Front Cam Pwr: Enable power for the Front Camera.
- Rear Camera Delay: Set the refresh rate for the Rear Camera image when reversing (Off, 1 Sec, 2 Sec, 3 Sec). This setting can also apply to the Front Camera.
Clock Settings (Menu 3)
- Clock Mode: Set between 12-hour and 24-hour format.
- Hour: Set the hour.
- Minute: Set the minute.
- AM/PM: Set AM/PM for 12-hour mode.
Audio Settings (Menu 4)
- Internal Amp: Enable/disable the internal amplifier.
- Startup Volume: Set the default volume upon startup. The unit will use either the last used volume (if lower than startup volume) or the startup volume (if last used volume was higher).
- TUNER Level, DISC Level, USB Level, SD Level, PHONE Level, STREAMING Level, AUX IN Level, AV INPUT Level: Adjust input gain levels (0-10).
- Equalizer: Adjust audio frequencies (60Hz to 20kHz) with presets (User, Reset, Loud).
- Position: Adjust Balance and Fade settings, and Subwoofer output (Off/On).
Tuner Settings (Menu 5)
- Tuner Region: Select between America and EU regions.
- Auto Preset: Performs radio auto-preset functionality.
- Local/Distance: Choose between Local (LO) and Distance (DX) reception sensitivity.
- RBDS: Turn RBDS on/off. Touch 'Set' to configure RBDS options.
- Stereo/Mono: Select between Stereo and Mono reception.
Illumination Settings (Menu 5)
- Illumination Trigger: Enable/disable illumination detection.
- Brightness Day: Set screen brightness for daytime.
- Gamma Day: Adjust gamma brightness for daytime.
About Settings (Menu 7)
- Screen Calibration: Enter the touch calibration interface.
- Version: View the unit's software version.
- System Reset: Restore the unit to factory settings.
- E.U.L.A: Select whether to display the warning interface upon booting up.
Tuner Operation
- Home Page: Touch the home icon [house-icon] to return to the home page.
- RBDS Display: Shows PS, PTY, and RT messages from RDS.
- Seek Backwards: Short press to seek backwards; long press to enter manual tuning mode.
- Seek Forward: Short press to seek forwards; long press to enter manual tuning mode.
- Preset Stations: Short press to select a preset station; long press to save the current frequency.
RBDS Setup: Navigate to Settings > Tuner > RBDS > Set. Here you can select program types (News, Information, Sports, Talk, Rock) to search for stations.
- a. CT (Clock Time): Automatically corrects the current time when RBDS is active.
- b. TA (Traffic Announcement): Enables automatic traffic station searches. Announcements interrupt other modes and return to the previous mode afterward.
- c. AF (Auto Frequency): Automatically fine-tunes to stronger frequencies when the received station signal weakens. Displays a warning for emergency announcements.
- d. PTY (Programming Type): Allows searching for stations based on program type.
Note: AF/TA/PTY functions require RBDS to be turned ON.
DVD Mode Operation
- 1. Title/Chapter Selection: Touch to select DVD title or chapter.
- 2. Previous/Rewind: Short press for previous chapter; long press for fast rewind.
- 3. Play/Pause: Controls playback.
- 4. Next/Fast Forward: Short press for next chapter; long press for fast forward.
- 5. DVD Root Menu: Accesses the DVD root menu.
- 6. Next Menu Page: Navigates to the next page of the menu bar.
- 7. Previous Menu Page: Navigates to the previous page of the menu bar.
- 8. Repeat Mode: Cycles through repeat modes (All, Off, Chapter, Title for DVD; All, Off, Single for VCD PBC off).
- 9. Random Play: Toggles random playback.
- 10. Video Adjust: Enters the video adjustment page.
- 11. DVD Title Menu: Accesses the DVD title menu.
- 12. Subtitle Language: Selects subtitle language.
- 13. Next Menu Page: Navigates to the next menu page.
- 14. Aspect Ratio: Switches video between 4:3 and 16:9.
- 15. Audio Language: Selects DVD audio language.
- 16. Video Angle: Selects DVD video angle.
Note: Video playback requires the parking brake to be engaged. If the parking brake wire is not connected correctly, a safety warning message will appear: "For Safety, the vehicle must be parked in a safe location and parking brake engaged.".
Disc/CD/USB/SD Playback
Media Playing - CD Audio
- 1. ID3 Information: Displays music ID3 tag information.
- 2. Time Bar: Shows total time and current playback time.
- 3. Play Mode: Cycles through repeat modes (All, Directory, Single, Sequential, Shuffle).
- 4. Previous Track: Returns to the previous track.
- 5. Playback Control: Play/Pause button.
- 6. Next Track: Proceeds to the next track.
- 7. File List: Enters the file list page.
CD Source Menu
Touch the SOURCE MENU icon [music-note-icon] to access the CD track menu for manual track selection. Touch again to return to playback.
USB/SD Music/Video/Picture
Access the USB or SD interface from the main menu. The music menu is similar to the CD music menu, often displaying more ID3 information like song title and artist.
Bluetooth Operation Menu
Click the phone icon [phone-icon] to enter the Bluetooth function interface.
1. Bluetooth Setting Menu:
- a. Bluetooth On/Off: Toggles Bluetooth connectivity. The icon changes color to indicate status (gray: off, white: on, blue: paired).
- b. Auto Connect: Automatically connects to previously paired devices.
- c. Auto Answer: Automatically answers incoming calls.
- d. PIN Code: Default PIN is "0000". Can be changed by tapping the displayed code.
- e. Default Bluetooth Name: The unit's Bluetooth name is "BOSS AUDIO BV9351B".
2. Function Area:
- a. Dialing Keypad: Access the keypad to dial numbers.
- b. Phonebook: View and access saved contacts.
- c. Recents: View call history (missed, dialed, received).
- d. Device: Manage paired Bluetooth devices.
- e. Setup: Access Bluetooth settings.
Bluetooth Keypad
- 1. Dialed Number Display: Shows the entered number. Press [backspace-icon] to delete.
- 2. Key Area: Numeric keypad.
- 3. Call Button: Initiates a call.
Bluetooth Call
- 1. Contact Name: Displays the name of the calling party.
- 2. Audio Output: Select audio output between the phone or the Bluetooth unit.
- 3. Mute Mic: Mute or un-mute the microphone.
- 4. Keypad Area: Access the dialing keypad during a call.
- 5. Hang Up: Ends the current phone call.
Bluetooth Operation
Bluetooth Phonebook
- 1. Search: Enter a name or number to search contacts.
- 2. Contact List: Displays saved contacts with their phone numbers.
Bluetooth Call History
- 1. Sync Phonebook: Updates the phonebook from the connected phone.
- 2. Missed Calls: Displays a list of missed calls.
- 3. Dialed Numbers: Displays a list of dialed numbers.
- 4. Received Numbers: Displays a list of received calls.
Bluetooth Music - A2DP
- 1. Previous Song: Skips to the previous track.
- 2. Play/Pause: Controls music playback.
- 3. Next Song: Skips to the next track.
- 4. EQ Setting: Enters the equalizer settings menu.
Bluetooth Pair Device
To pair a new device, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the unit and your phone. Follow the on-screen prompts or your phone's Bluetooth menu to search for and connect to "BOSS AUDIO BV9351B". A confirmation message will appear upon successful pairing. You may be prompted to disconnect or forget a previously paired device.

Photo Playback
- 1. Keypad: Enter a number to select a specific file.
- 2. Previous Picture: Displays the previous image.
- 3. PLAY/PAUSE: Starts or pauses the picture slideshow. Each picture displays for 5 seconds by default.
- 4. Next Picture: Displays the next image.
- 5. List: Enters the file list view.
- 6. Next Menu Page: Navigates to the next menu page.
- 7. Previous Menu Page: Navigates to the previous menu page.
- 8. Repeat Mode: Sets the repeat mode for picture playback.
- 9. Random Play: Toggles random playback of pictures.
- 10. Video Adjust: Accesses image adjustment settings.
- 11. Rotate: Rotates the current picture 90 degrees.
- 12. Zoom: Zooms in or out on the current picture.
Camera/Aux/AV Menu
- Front Camera: Enables the display of the front camera feed, potentially alongside the rear camera.
- Rear Camera: Activates the rear view camera display, which can automatically show when the vehicle is in reverse and return to the previous source afterward.
- AUX IN: Allows input from external audio devices connected via the 3.5mm jack on the front panel.
- AV INPUT: Enables input from external video and audio devices connected via RCA jacks.
