Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare Side Panels
Take the two main side panels. Insert the wooden dowels into the pre-drilled holes on one of the side panels. Ensure they are fully seated. [Diagram: Close-up showing dowels being inserted into holes on the edge of a panel.]
Step 2: Attach First Side Panel to Base
Align the base panel with the dowels on the first side panel. Secure the base panel to the side panel using screws (Part #130608) and the Allen key (Part #100006). [Diagram: Shows a side panel standing upright, with the base panel being attached to its bottom edge using screws.]
Step 3: Insert and Secure Shelves
Insert the shelves into the designated slots or grooves on the attached side panel. Secure each shelf from the outside using screws (Part #130608). [Diagram: Shows shelves being slid into place and then secured with screws from the exterior.]
Step 4: Attach Second Side Panel
Align the second side panel with the open ends of the shelves and the base panel. Secure the second side panel to the base panel and each shelf using screws (Part #130608). [Diagram: Shows the second side panel being attached to the assembly, connecting to the base and shelves.]
Step 5: Add Remaining Shelves
Continue inserting and securing the remaining shelves into the unit using screws (Part #130608) for each shelf. [Diagram: Shows more shelves being added to the structure.]
Step 6: Assemble Full Unit
If the unit is designed to be assembled in sections, connect them now using the provided screws (Part #130608). The diagram shows two main sections being joined together. [Diagram: Illustrates joining two larger assembled parts of the shelving unit.]
Step 7: Position the Unit
Carefully move the fully assembled shelving unit to its final desired location.
Step 8: Prepare for Wall Mounting
Measure 30mm (approximately 1 3/8 inches) down from the top edge of the unit on the back. Mark this point. This is where the anti-tip strap will attach to the unit. [Diagram: A tape measure is shown indicating a 30mm measurement from the top edge of the unit.]
Step 9: Secure Unit to Wall
Attach one end of the anti-tip strap (Part #128481) to the marked point on the back of the unit using a screw. Identify a suitable wall stud or use appropriate wall anchors (not included). Attach the other end of the strap securely to the wall. Ensure the strap is taut to prevent tipping. [Diagram: Shows the strap being attached to the unit and then to a wall, with a close-up of the connection.]
Step 10: Final Check
Double-check that all screws are tightened and the unit is stable and securely fastened to the wall. [Diagram: Shows the completed, wall-mounted unit.]
