KNOW YOUR WATER KETTLE

The coffee maker consists of the following components:

Electrical parameters: 120V ~ 60Hz 950W

Control Panel Layout

The control panel features the following buttons and indicators:

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Inspect whether all the accessories are included.

  1. Ensure that the machine is at the power-off situation.
  2. Press the Funnel Key to take out the funnel, filter, and funnel cover for cleaning.
  3. Pour drinking water into the water tank, optionally with some lemon juice. Plug the power outlet, press “GRIND OFF” to cancel the grinding function, then press the “ON/OFF” button to start the machine. Let it brew water for 3 times before brewing coffee.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION: MAKE DRIP COFFEE WITH COFFEE BEANS

  1. Open the water tank cover and pour in the cups of water corresponding to the number of coffee cups you select. If you pour more water than the selected cups, it will result in weak coffee as the machine will brew all the water in the tank.
    • Note: The actual coffee yield will be less than the water poured in, as some water is absorbed by the coffee powder.
    • Never pour hot water, milk, coffee powder, or tea into the water tank.
    • Do not fill the water tank beyond the 10 mark indicated on the water gauge.
  2. Press the Funnel Key to check if the filter is inside the Funnel Support.
  3. Put proper coffee beans (less than 200g) into the Bean Box and cover its lid. It is suggested not to place too much coffee beans in the Bean Box to avoid moisture.
  4. WARNING: TO PREVENT THE GRINDER FROM BEING BLOCKED, PLEASE DON'T USE UNROASTED OR DAMPED COFFEE BEANS.
  5. Connect the machine to power. The display will show "12:00" (referencing the control panel). The numbers will flash. Then, press the 'HOUR' and 'MIN' buttons to set the local time.
    • Note: The numbers will flash until the Hour or Min button is pressed to set the time. The automatic function is unavailable while the numbers are flashing.
  6. Set the number of cups (2, 4, 6, 8, 10) by pressing the “POWDER 2-10" button (referencing the control panel). The default number of cups is 10. You can then turn the Knob to set the coarseness of the coffee powder.
    • Note: Ensure the number of cups set for coffee matches the water amount filled in the water tank. For example, if you fill 2 cups of water, select 2 cups of coffee; otherwise, the machine will finish boiling all the water in the tank, leading to weak coffee.
    • You can adjust the coffee powder coarseness by turning the knob. It is recommended to turn the knob to the middle position.
  7. Press "STRENGTH CONTROL" to select the desired coffee strength.
  8. Press the "ON/OFF" button. After about 3 seconds, the grinder will start grinding. After grinding, wait for about 3 seconds, and the LCD will display a coffee cup icon.
  9. After brewing, the coffee cup icon on the LCD will disappear, and a buzzer will sound 3 times.
  10. When brewing is finished, if you do not unplug the power cord, the coffee can be kept warm in the carafe for about 2 hours. After 2 hours, the machine will automatically cut off power.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION: MAKE DRIP COFFEE WITH COFFEE POWDER DIRECTLY

  1. Press the Funnel Key and check if the filter is inside the Funnel Support. Add the desired coffee powder into the filter according to your experience, then lock the Funnel Support firmly.
  2. Open the water tank cover and pour in the cups of water as you expect. If you pour too much water, it will cause weak coffee since the machine will brew all the water in the tank.
    • Note: The coffee yield will be less than the water poured in, as some water is absorbed by the coffee powder.
    • Never pour hot water, milk, coffee powder, or tea into the water tank.
    • Do not fill the water tank beyond the 10 mark indicated on the water gauge.
  3. Connect the machine to power. The display will show "12:00" (referencing the control panel), and the numbers will flash. Then, press the 'HOUR' and 'MIN' buttons to set the local time.
    • Note: The numbers will flash until the Hour or Min button is pressed to set the time. The automatic function is unavailable while the numbers are flashing.
  4. Press the "GRIND OFF" button; the blue "GRIND OFF" indicator will be illuminated.
  5. Then, press the "ON/OFF" button once. The LCD will display a brewing icon, and the coffee maker will brew directly. After brewing, the brewing icon on the LCD will disappear, and a buzzer will sound 3 times.
  6. When brewing is finished, if you do not unplug the power cord, the coffee can be kept warm in the carafe for about 2 hours. After 2 hours, the machine will automatically cut off power.

AUTOMATIC START FUNCTION

  1. Operate according to steps 1-7 of the "make drip coffee with coffee beans" section or steps 1-4 of the "make drip coffee with coffee powder directly" section.
  2. Set the current time. The numbers will stop flashing. Press the "PROGRAM" button until the time enters timer mode (the numbers will flash again). Set the desired AUTOMATIC START time by pressing the “Min” and “Hour” buttons.
  3. Press the "PROGRAM" button again. The PROGRAM icon will show on the display, and the blue “PROGRAM” indicator will be illuminated, activating the automatic mode.
    • Note: The time cycle is 24 hours.
  4. The coffee maker will start to brew at the preset time. The "PROGRAM" indicator will be extinguished, and the "ON/OFF" indicator will be illuminated. The appliance will start to work automatically.

CANCEL THE PRESETTING PROGRAM

If the coffee maker is in the presetting state (the “PROGRAM” indicator is on), simply press the “PROGRAM” button once. The "PROGRAM" indicator will be extinguished, and the automatic mode will be canceled.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this machine before cleaning. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or machine in water or liquid.

  1. Clean the funnel, filter, and coffee carafe after each use.
  2. Wipe the bean container and the product's exterior surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove stains.
  3. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the warming plate. Never use abrasive cleaner to clean it.

CLEANING MINERAL DEPOSITS

  1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level. The scale of water and descaler should be 4:1 (refer to the descaler's instructions for details). You can use a "household descaler" or citric acid (every one hundred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
  2. Press the "Grind off" button; the blue “Grind off” indicator will be illuminated. Then, press the “ON/OFF” button once; the appliance will start to brew directly.
  3. Rinse by operating the appliance with clean water at least 3 times.
