Power Supply
The ventilator can be powered in several ways:
- Via the supplied cable (G) connected to a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Directly connected to the vehicle's 12Vdc electrical system.
The system includes a polarity reversal feature, allowing the unit to function as both a fan and an aspirator. If a 12Vdc socket is unavailable, the ventilator can also be powered by 8 Alkaline LR20 batteries (not supplied), providing approximately 80 hours of operation. Remember to remove the batteries when the ventilator is connected to the 12Vdc network.
Polarity Inverter
The polarity inverter allows you to switch the function of the ventilator between blowing air out (aspirator) and drawing air in (fan). This is achieved by reversing the polarity of the power connection using the provided connector (F) and cable (E).
Diagram Description: A diagram shows the polarity inverter module (E) connecting to a power connector (F). The connector (F) has clearly marked positive [Positive Terminal] and negative [Negative Terminal] terminals, indicating how the power source should be connected to achieve different operational modes.
