Introduction

This document provides installation and usage instructions for the Fiamma TURBO-KIT ventilator.

Safety and Pre-Installation Checks

Before installation, ensure that no parts have been damaged or deformed during transport. If you have any doubts or questions regarding installation, use, or product limitations, please contact your dealer. It is recommended that installation be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with current local regulations.

General Installation Guidelines

For easy installation, it is recommended to install the fixing brackets respecting the indicated wheelbase of 31 cm. Once the position of the brackets is established, fix them with the screws provided.

The ventilator must be installed with the fixing brackets standard delivered or using directly the sliding hooks on the rooflight's frame. Other installation systems could compromise its stability. While travelling, keep the TURBO-KIT dismounted. If you need to oil the sliding hooks use a silicone spray.

Installation Options

The TURBO-KIT can be installed in multiple ways, typically within an adjustable mounting range of 36-48 cm.

Option 1

Step 1: Position the main ventilator unit.

Step 2: Attach mounting brackets (B) to the ventilator unit and fix them with screws (C).

Step 3: Align the brackets with the mounting points and secure them.

Step 4: Adjust the ventilator to fit the opening (36-48 cm) and ensure it is securely mounted.

Option 2

Step 1: Identify mounting locations on the rooflight frame.

Step 2: Attach mounting brackets (D) to the rooflight frame and secure them with screws (C).

Step 3: Position the ventilator unit and connect it to the brackets (D).

Step 4: Adjust the ventilator to fit the opening (36-48 cm) and ensure it is securely mounted.

Option 3

Step 1: Position the main ventilator unit.

Step 2: Attach mounting brackets (B) to the ventilator unit and fix them with screws (C).

Step 3: Align the brackets with the mounting points and secure them.

Step 4: Adjust the ventilator to fit the opening (36-48 cm) and ensure it is securely mounted.

Option 4

Step 1: Place the ventilator unit into the rooflight opening.

Step 2: Ensure the ventilator fits snugly within the opening, using the integrated frame or adjustable supports.

Step 3: Secure the ventilator within the 36-48 cm range, ensuring it is stable.

Power Supply

The ventilator can be powered in several ways:

• Via the included power cable with a cigarette lighter plug (connect to vehicle's 12V socket).
• Directly to the vehicle's 12Vdc electrical installation. The polarity can be reversed manually using the included polarity inverter (F) to function as either a fan or an aspirator.
• Using 8 Alkaline LR20 batteries (1.5V D type, not supplied), providing approximately 80 hours of operation. Remove batteries when connected to the 12Vdc net.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning: Never use aggressive cleaning products such as glass cleaners, all-purpose cleaners, abrasives, or dish-washing detergents. Avoid alcohol-containing detergents, solvents, or any corrosive liquids.

Lubrication: If sliding hooks require lubrication, use a silicone spray.
