1. General Information
1.1 Disclaimer and Warning
Disclaimer: The performance data of the electric scooter published by the manufacturer are based on factory tests under controlled conditions and should only be used for comparison purposes. The performance of your electric scooter depends on the circumstances under which you operate the scooter; therefore, the "Company" (or "we" or "us") is not responsible for the warranty, repair, or replacement of products that do not meet the performance specifications published by the manufacturer.

Ride safely and follow local regulations. Operate the electric scooter in a controlled manner and in an area where its use is permitted.
Before each ride, check that the tires are in good condition, the brakes are functional, and parts like the clamp and handlebar grips are securely tightened.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your JOYOR scooter is regularly maintained so that it can be used safely.

1.2 Safety Precautions
When riding the e-scooter, always wear a helmet and adhere to local laws, wearing safety helmets and protective clothing that have undergone appropriate quality testing before riding.
- Do not ride on wet ground or in the rain.
- Slow down and pay attention to pedestrians when turning.
- Avoid potholes, curbs, and debris on the ground.
- Understand and strictly adhere to local traffic regulations.
- Maintain tires at the manufacturer's recommended pressure.
- Get off and push the scooter manually in areas with heavy pedestrian traffic.
- Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or take sedatives or other medications before consulting a doctor.
- Never use a mobile phone while using your e-scooter.
- Please do not do anything while riding your electric scooter that could harm other people or their property.
- Never modify parts or components from the aftermarket or use them. Any modification of the electric scooter can make it dangerous and void the warranty. This scooter is built to function in a specific way, and any change to factory settings can make its ride dangerous.
- Always perform mechanical checks of the brakes and other parts of the scooter that ensure visibility, safety, and functionality.
- Check tires and wheels, ensure there are no signs of wear and nothing needs replacement. Always ensure the braking mechanism does not interfere with the wheels and that free rotation is possible.
- Never overload the scooter beyond its maximum load capacity.
- Never ride your e-scooter after a collision, crash, or fall.
- Never ride your e-scooter near saltwater, on the beach, or through water (rain and water damage are not covered by warranty).
1.3 Strict Prohibitions
- Prohibition of using the e-scooter in areas where entry is legally forbidden in the country, region, state, or city.
- Prevent one or both hands from leaving the handlebars.
- Avoid riding in hazardous areas that do not meet the requirements for use.
- Do not perform jumps, stunts, curb climbing, or motocross-style riding with your e-scooter.
- Prohibition of entering highways. In some countries and regions, riding on non-motorized lanes with such vehicles is not permitted. Please observe all local laws and regulations.
- Prohibition of using the e-scooter in areas where entry is legally forbidden in the country, region, state, or city.
- Minors under 18 years of age are not permitted.
- Never carry another person or tow anything with your scooter.
- Never ride an e-scooter if you are pregnant, visually impaired, or otherwise disabled; seek medical advice first.
- Prohibit dangerous behaviors such as riding while talking on the phone.
- Prohibit riding in rain, snow, ice, water, wet unpaved roads, and other hazardous conditions.
- Prohibit riding in poor visibility conditions.
1.4 Pre-Ride Checks
Before every ride, always:
- Check the function of your brakes.
- Check the tires for correct pressure and any signs of wear or damage. Ensure the wheels rotate freely and are not blocked by the brake pads.
- Check that all screws, nuts, and bolts are securely tightened.
- Ensure the handlebars are firmly and securely seated and that the brake and throttle levers, as well as the display, are correctly adjusted for optimal viewing angle.
- Check that the stem folding clamp is correctly engaged and secure.
- If you notice anything that does not look correct, do not ride or use your scooter. If you are unsure, take your e-scooter to an authorized dealer.
1.5 Waste Disposal
Please do not burn, bury, or dispose of the electric scooter with household waste. If the battery is damaged or replaced, it will lead to hazards and environmental pollution. Please observe the relevant regulations and handle it carefully.

2.4 Display Information
Startup Screen:

Display Indicators:
- 1. Error Code Display: Shows error codes if any occur.
- 2. Gear Display: Indicates the current gear or speed mode.
- 3. Speed Display: Shows the current speed in Km/h or MPH.
- 4. Battery Display: Shows the remaining battery level, typically as a bar graph or percentage.
- 5. Start Mode: Indicates the scooter's startup mode (e.g., ECO, NORMAL).
- 6. Drive Mode: Shows whether the scooter is in single-drive or dual-drive mode.
- 7. Lighting: Indicates if the lights are on.
- 8. 6km/h Boost Mode: Indicates when the boost mode is active.
- 9. Multifunctional Display: Provides additional information like total distance (ODO) and trip distance.
Description of the Startup Screen:
Battery Indicator: The battery level rises stepwise from bottom to top. The lowest segment indicates a low battery, and the top segment indicates a full battery. The remaining battery level is also shown as a percentage on the left side.
Multifunction Display Area: Displays the total mileage (ODO), single trip mileage, real-time voltage, prompt for runtime, error prompts, and the voltage value of the throttle grip.
Single/Dual Drive: Mode selection; the default mode is single drive. S-Drive is motor drive.
Scooter Start Mode: ECO is the non-zero start mode, and NORMAL is the zero start mode.
2.5 Button Panel Information

Settings Menu
Press and hold the ➕ and ➖ buttons for 3 seconds to enter the settings menu or return to the main menu. Short press the ⏻ button to switch through setting options. After setting, press and hold the ➖ button to return to the main menu. Parameter setting and definition.
P02: Kilometer Unit
After accessing the settings interface, press ⏻ to switch to P02: Press ➕ or ➖ to select 0 (Miles Standard) or 1 (KM).
P04: Sleep Time
From 0 to 60 minutes, 0 means always on. After accessing the settings interface, press ⏻ to switch to P04: Press ➕ or ➖ to select between 0 and 60 (Default: 5 minutes).
P12: Strength Setting
Range: 0 to 5. After accessing the settings interface, press ⏻ to switch to P12: Press ➕ or ➖ to select the strength (Default: 5).
P15: Motor Drive Signal Percentage
Range: 1 to 100. After accessing the settings interface, press ⏻ to switch to P15: Press ➕ or ➖ to select the percentage (Default: 100).
P99: Select Percentage (Default: 100).
Access the menu, short press the ➕ or ➖ button. The value 00099 will flash. The display will return to the main interface after holding the ⏻ button for 5 seconds. The setting is successfully completed.
ODO: To Clear ODO
In the ODO parameter setting interface, briefly press the ➖ button and then hold it for 5-6 seconds until the number zero is displayed.
Error Codes
The number corresponding to the multifunction display indicates the respective error content. The specific status is as follows:

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Handlebar Assembly
Using the M5 Allen wrench, first loosely install the four M5 screws. Then, tighten them one by one, alternating left and right, until all 4 screws are securely fastened and the handlebar no longer wobbles.

3.2 Folding and Unfolding
1. Release the Folding Safety Latch: Release the safety latch by pressing the left knob inwards and then carefully releasing it.

2. Fold the Handlebar and Secure to Hook: Carefully lower the folding lever, slowly tilt the stem backward, and let the buckle engage with the hook.

3.3 Battery Removal and Installation

Removal: Insert the key into the hole at the rear end of the footrest, lift the cover handle, and remove the battery.
Installation: Place the battery into the battery compartment. Ensure the battery is correctly positioned, and then lock the cover.
4. Battery Charging
4.1 Charging Instructions
- Open the cover of the charging port on the electric scooter and plug the charger's output connector into the charging port.
- Plug the charger's power plug into the socket (AC 110V-220 V).
- The charging indicator light will turn red to indicate that charging is in progress. When the charging indicator light turns green, it means the battery is fully charged.
- Place the battery in a dry, well-ventilated environment while charging.
C10 Charger: 54.6 V: Input 100 – 240 V ~, 2.8 A (MAX) 50/60 Hz; Output 54.6 V = 2.0 A; The special charger provided by Joyor has a charging protection timing function.
⚠️ Warning: For charging the battery, exclusively use the detachable power adapter supplied with this device.

4.2 Battery Information
- The Joyor electric scooter is equipped with a Lithium-Polymer battery. The average lifespan of the battery is 1000 cycles. With normal use and maintenance, the battery life can generally exceed 1000 cycles.
- Before using the scooter for the first time, please fully charge the battery.
- Avoid completely discharging your scooter's battery before charging. Always ensure the battery is at least 10% charged. For satisfactory vehicle performance, the battery must be at least 50% charged. Do not leave your electric scooter with a severely discharged battery for several hours. Charge it immediately.
- If you are storing the electric scooter for an extended period, ensure the battery is charged to at least 40-50%. It is recommended to charge your scooter at least once every 30 days.
- Always use only the original Joyor charger that matches the scooter model.
- Do not leave your electric scooter in temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius or under direct sunlight. Keep the battery dry. Negative environmental conditions can damage the battery.
- Lithium-Polymer batteries must be handled with extreme caution. Improper charging, damage, or overheating can lead to a fire. Do not charge your electric scooter unattended. Do not charge the electric scooter overnight. Always supervise the electric scooter during the charging process and avoid overcharging the battery. Do not use, charge, or leave a damaged battery unattended and immediately follow disposal protocols.
4.3 General Recommendations
- Please check and adjust screws monthly. For professional or intensive use, it is recommended to replace the screws every 6 months.
- Please check the brakes regularly and adjust them as needed.
5. Daily Care and Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning and Storage
After a long ride, you need to clean it to ensure the electric scooter functions well.
- Turn the scooter upside down before cleaning.
- Wipe with a dry cloth.
- Avoid contact with liquids.
- Do not use alcohol or cleaning agents.
- Do not spray any liquid directly onto any part of the scooter.
5.2 Adjusting the Folding System
If you have used the scooter for a long time, use the Allen wrench to adjust the screw. Ensure the screw is tightened.
