Product Overview

This document provides assembly instructions for the IKEA UTRUSTA pull-out corner cabinet fitting system. The system is designed to maximize storage space in corner kitchen cabinets.

The initial pages of the document display illustrations of the UTRUSTA system's curved shelf units.

Tools and Preparation

Required tool: Screwdriver (?).

Ensure you have all parts before starting. If you encounter difficulties or are unsure about any step, please consult the IKEA website or visit an IKEA store for assistance (❓).

Parts List

Step 1: Attach Cabinet Mounting Plates

Objective: Secure the mounting plates to the interior sides of the kitchen cabinet.

Description: The diagram shows the inside of a cabinet with pre-drilled holes. Attach the Cabinet Mounting Plates (10127301) to these holes using Screws (100325). An 'X' symbol (❌) indicates incorrect placement or orientation.

Details:

• Attach 4x Cabinet Mounting Plates (10127301) to each side of the cabinet interior.
• Use 8x Screws (100325) per side (total 16x screws).
• Ensure correct orientation as shown.

Step 2: Install Sliding Rails

Objective: Mount the sliding rails onto the cabinet structure.

Description: Insert the sliding rails into the attached mounting plates (10127301). Arrows (➡️, ↪️) indicate the motion required to slide and lock the rails into place.

Details:

• Insert 4x Sliding Rails into the corresponding slots on the Cabinet Mounting Plates.
• Ensure the rails are fully seated and locked.

Step 3: Assemble Shelf Units

Objective: Prepare the curved shelf units for installation.

Description: Attach Shelf Support Brackets (10124259) to the curved shelf structures using Screws (10126361). This is repeated for each shelf unit.

Details:

• For each of the two shelf units, attach Shelf Support Brackets (10124259).
• Use 12x Screws (10126361) per shelf unit (total 24x screws).

Step 4: Connect Shelf Sections

Objective: Join the two main shelf sections together.

Description: Use Shelf Connectors (10127257) to join the two assembled shelf sections securely.

Details:

• Use Shelf Connectors (10127257) to join the two shelf sections.

Step 5: Attach Shelf Base

Objective: Secure the bottom base of the shelf unit.

Description: Place the bottom shelf onto the assembled frame. Arrows (⬇️) indicate downward pressure is needed to secure the bottom shelf to the frame via multiple attachment points.

Details:

• Place the bottom shelf onto the assembled frame.
• Apply firm downward pressure to secure it at approximately 12 points.

Step 6: Finalize Shelf Assembly

Objective: Complete the assembly of the pull-out shelf unit.

Description: Attach the rotating base mechanism to the assembled shelf unit using Screws (10126361).

Details:

• Attach the rotating base mechanism to the underside of the assembled shelf unit.
• Use 12x Screws (10126361) for this attachment.

Step 7: Insert Shelf System into Cabinet

Objective: Install the assembled pull-out shelf system into the cabinet.

Description: Slide the assembled UTRUSTA shelf system onto the installed sliding rails in the cabinet. Arrows (➡️) indicate the direction to slide the unit.

Details:

• Carefully slide the assembled UTRUSTA shelf system onto the installed sliding rails in the cabinet.
• Ensure it engages correctly with the rails.

Step 8: Secure Shelf System

Objective: Finalize the installation and secure the shelf system.

Description: A close-up view shows the bottom of the shelf system and its connection to the cabinet base. Final securing components are inserted or attached. Arrows (⬇️) indicate the insertion of these components.

Details:

• Attach the final securing components at the base of the installed shelf system.
• Use 4x of these components as indicated.

Information and Load Capacity

Load Capacity: The maximum load capacity for each shelf is 20 kg (44 lb) (⚖️).

Cabinet Configurations: Diagrams illustrate two possible cabinet setups for the UTRUSTA system, showing the placement of the pull-out shelves within the cabinet doors.

Note: The 'UTRUSTA 95°' marking likely refers to the maximum opening angle of the cabinet doors required to fully access the pull-out shelves.
