Getting Started
Congratulations on your new Frameo photo frame! This manual guides you through the setup process, connecting with friends and family, and utilizing the frame's features.
For initial setup, follow the quick setup guide or the on-screen instructions when powering on the frame for the first time.
Frameo App
To send photos to your Frameo frame, download the dedicated Frameo app for iOS or Android. The app is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Frameo Quick Setup
The initial setup involves:
- Selecting the desired language for the frame interface.
- Connecting the frame to your Wi-Fi network.
- Updating the frame to the latest software version (recommended).
- Entering your name and the frame's location (e.g., "Living Room").
- Setting the correct time zone.
Using Your Frameo
Connect with friends and family by sharing a unique connection code generated by your frame. Once they add this code in their Frameo app, they can send photos directly to your frame.
Navigate through photos by swiping left or right. Tap the screen to access the main menu, which includes options like Add Friend, Gallery, Settings, Hide Photo, Fit/Fill Frame, Adjust Photo, and Power Menu.
Settings
Personalize your Frameo experience through the Settings menu:
- My Frame: Set the frame name and location.
- Language & Time: Adjust language, time zone, and 24-hour format.
- Sleep Mode: Configure screen sleep times to save power.
- Manage Photos: View photos, check storage, hide/show photos, delete photos, import from microSD, and export photos.
- My Friends: Manage connected friends, their permissions, and share connection codes.
- Display & Slideshow: Configure photo display duration, captions, fill/fit options, and photo order.
- Wi-Fi: Connect to wireless networks.
Backup and Restore
Regularly back up your frame's photos, friends, and settings to an external storage device (e.g., microSD card). The frame supports automatic backups. You can also restore your frame from a previous backup.
The 'Reset Frame' option removes all data, returning the frame to its factory settings.
