F01 PLUS Quick Start Guide
Panel Introduction
This section provides an overview of the F01 PLUS feeder's control panel.
The feeder panel features the following components:
- Recording button
- Manual Feeding button
- Setting button
- [microphone-symbol] (labeled MIC)
- [plus-symbol] (Number Increase button)
- [minus-symbol] (Number Decrease button)
- Back(lock) button
- A digital display showing time and settings.
The digital display shows the current time and program settings. The buttons are used for navigation, adjustment, and saving configurations.
Program Setting
The device utilizes a 24-hour clock system. For instance, 16:00 corresponds to 4:00 PM.
Setting Up the Feeder
STEP 1 — Unlock Screen
Press and hold the Back(lock) button [lock-symbol] for 2 seconds to unlock the screen.
Visual: The screen is shown as locked. After pressing the button, the screen becomes active, displaying the model number (e.g., "ML12345") and a time placeholder (e.g., "00:00").
STEP 2 — Set the Current Time
Note: For optimal performance, the feeder's internal time must be synchronized with the current time.
Press and hold the Back(lock) button [lock-symbol] for 2 seconds to enter the time setting mode. Use the Number Increase [+] and Number Decrease [-] buttons to adjust the current time. Press the Back(lock) button [lock-symbol] again to save the time and proceed to the meal settings.
Visual: The time display (e.g., "00:00") is shown with the [+] and [-] buttons being used for adjustment. The model number "ML12345" and a microphone icon are visible on the panel.
STEP 3 — Set Feeding Portion and Time
STEP 3.1 — Set Feeding Portion
The display will flash "ML 1" (indicating the first meal). Press the Setting button to confirm this meal and proceed to setting the portion size. Use the Number Increase [+] and Number Decrease [-] buttons to adjust the portion quantity. Once the desired portion is set, press the Setting button to save and move to setting the feeding time for this meal.
Visual: The display shows "ML 1" flashing. The [+] and [-] buttons are used to adjust portion size. A save action is indicated after adjustment.
STEP 3.2 — Set Feeding Time
Use the Number Increase [+] and Number Decrease [-] buttons to set the hour for the meal. Press the Setting button to save the hour and proceed to setting the minute.
Visual: The hour digits on the time display are adjusted using the [+] and [-] buttons. The user then presses the Setting button.
STEP 3.3 — Set Other Meals
Repeat steps 3.1 and 3.2 for setting meals 2 through 5. After all desired meal schedules (up to five) have been configured, press the Setting button to save the entire program.
Visual: An indication to repeat the process for subsequent meals.
FAQs
Why is there no response to pressing any button?
After powering on, press and hold the Back(lock) button [lock-symbol] for 3 seconds to unlock the screen. Then, click the Setting button to enter the setting mode.
Why wasn't the food distributed at the set time?
- Ensure the food size is less than 12mm; the feeder is designed for dry food only.
- Check if the food bowl is sufficiently full and if there is any food residue at the food outlet. If residue is present, please clean it promptly.
- If the feeder's internal sensors detect food residue at the food outlet, the food located behind it may not be dispensed.
- Verify that the turntable is not jammed. If it is, please clean it first.
- If the feeder is operating on battery power, confirm that the batteries have sufficient charge.
What is the amount of 1 portion?
One portion dispensed by the feeder is approximately 10g.
How do I cancel the third feeding schedule?
To cancel the third feeding schedule, set the feeding portion for that meal to 0.
