Running Mode Descriptions
Running Mode: "Forward with brake" mode allows the car to go forward and brake, but cannot reverse. "Forward and back with brake” mode allows the car to go forward, backward, and reverse. In this mode, if the car is going forward and a continuous backward signal is given, it will brake to a stop but not reverse. Move the trigger to neutral, then give a backward signal to reverse. The same applies in reverse. "Directly forward and back" mode is suitable for climbing cars; set "Drag Brake" to 100% to use drag brake for braking.
Drag Brake: When the throttle is moved from positive to neutral, the car performs a slight brake.
Low Voltage Protection: When the battery voltage drops below a certain value, the output power will be reduced by half within 2 seconds, and the ESC will stop completely within 10 seconds. For NiMH batteries, a voltage between 9V-12V will be considered as a 3S LiPo battery, and below 9V as a 2S LiPo battery.
Programming Procedure
Way to program ESC:
- Power off ESC.
- Power on TX.
- Keep the "set" button pressed down and power on the ESC. You will see a red light flashing on the ESC.
- Release the "Set" button.
- The green light will flash once. Release the "Set" button.
- The ESC is now in "Running Mode" programming.
- Keep the "Set" button pressed down. A red light will flash once, indicating value 1.
- Release the "Set" button.
- The green light will flash twice. Release the "Set" button.
- The ESC is now in the next programming option.
- Keep the "Set" button pressed down. A red light will flash once, indicating value 1.
- Release the "Set" button.
- The green light will flash three times. Release the "Set" button.
- The ESC is now in the next programming option.
- Keep the "Set" button pressed down. A red light will flash once, indicating value 1.
- Release the "Set" button.
- The green light will flash ten times. Release the "Set" button.
- The ESC is now in "Running Mode" programming.
- Keep the "Set" button pressed down. A red light will flash once, indicating value 1.
- Release the "Set" button.
- Programming is finished.
Back to Default:
Press and hold the "set" button for more than 3 seconds when the throttle is in the neutral position. All values will be set to default. Both red and green lights flashing indicate success.
