Display and Controls:
The scooter's display and controls include:
- Function mode: Supports Cruise mode, Pedestrian mode, Fault prompt, Light, Bluetooth, and Lock.
- Gear mode: Offers three speed limits: L gear (6 km/h), M gear (15 km/h), and H gear (25 km/h).
- Speedometer: Displays remaining mileage for 6 seconds after turn-on, then shows the current speed.
- Battery indicator: Shows remaining battery power. It turns red and flashes when the power is around 10%.
- Switch button: Press to turn on. Press and hold for 3 seconds to shut down. When powered on, a single press controls the light, and a double press switches gears.

Assembly
- Pull the folding handle upwards until a click is heard, then pull the handle to confirm it is locked.
- Manually connect the fixing seat and the data cable in the front tube, and verify it is powered on correctly.
- Insert the fixing seat into the front tube and use the T-shape Allen Key to tighten the six screws.
Charge Your Scooter
Follow these steps to charge your scooter:
- The charger's indicator light turns green when connected to the power supply.
- Insert the charging plug; the indicator light will turn from green to red.
- After charging is complete, the indicator light turns from red to green.
Charging Process:
- Open the rubber flap on the charging port.
- Plug the power adapter into the charging port.
- Fasten the rubber flap after charging is complete.
ℹ️ Attention:
- Only use the original power adapter for charging.
- Keep children and animals away during charging and ensure the area is free from flammable materials.
- Do not charge or use the battery if it emits an unusual smell, overheats, or leaks.
- Do not open the battery pack or insert anything into the charging port, as the battery contains dangerous substances.
- If the scooter will not be used for an extended period, fully charge the battery first, store it in a cool, dry place, and recharge it every 30 days.
How To Ride
- Press the switch button to turn on the scooter and check the battery level. Charge if the battery is low.
- Stand with your right foot on the pedal and push off the ground with your left foot. Start the motor when the scooter reaches a speed of 4 km/h or more.
- While gliding, maintain balance, place your other foot on the pedal, and gently press the accelerator to move forward.
- To steer or decelerate, release the accelerator and use the brake lever.
Folding
To fold the scooter:
- Turn off the scooter.
- Press the red safety lock and release the folding handle.
- Fold the front tube clamp.
- Align the folding hook with the hook fixing buckle and secure it.
- Lift the front tube to confirm it is fastened firmly.
Unfolding
To unfold the scooter:
- Press the red button on the folding hook to release it from the retaining buckle.
- Straighten the front tube.
- Close the folding handle until a "click" sound is heard.
- Flip the folding handle to confirm it is locked.
LEQISMART APP
Download the LEQISMART APP by scanning the QR code with your mobile phone or searching "LEQISMART" in your application market. Ensure you have the latest version installed.
App Connection Steps:
- Step 1: Press the power button to turn on the scooter and enable the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone.
- Step 2: Open the LEQISMART APP. For first-time use, register or log in to your account following the APP guide.
- Step 3: On the APP homepage, select "Search the binding". The APP will scan for the scooter and guide you through adding the device.
Zero Start / Non-zero Start Mode:
- Zero Start Mode: After startup, flick the accelerator dial to activate acceleration.
- Non-zero Start Mode: After startup, the accelerator can only be activated when the scooter reaches an initial speed of 4 km/h with the help of your feet.
- The factory default setting for the scooter is non-zero start mode.
Safety Precautions
Please read the following safety precautions carefully before operating the LEQISMART A8 electric scooter:
- Always read the User Manual for operating principles and tips.
- Wear appropriate safety and protective gear.
- Always wear shoes and comfortable clothing.
- Do not use unapproved accessories or modify the scooter, as this voids the warranty and may cause injury.
- WARNING: Keep plastic covering away from children to prevent suffocation.
- Do not operate the scooter under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or when restless or sleepy.
- Use your best judgment to avoid dangerous situations.
- The scooter has a range of approximately 45 km and a maximum speed of 25 km/h.
- Avoid sharp turns, especially at high speeds.
- Do not abuse the scooter, as it can cause damage and lead to injury.
- Do not ride in or near water, mud, sand, gravel, or on rough terrain. Use only on flat, paved roads. Lift the scooter over uneven pavement or obstructions.
- Do not ride in inclement weather (snow, rain, hail, ice) or extreme heat.
- Do not ride in or near pools or large bodies of water.
- Be cautious in city traffic; avoid obstacle jumps and anticipate pedestrians.
- Do not ride over bumps or objects exceeding 1.5 cm.
- Be attentive to your surroundings, road conditions, people, and property.
- Do not operate in crowded areas.
- Exercise caution when operating indoors, especially around people and in narrow spaces.
- Avoid touching the brake disc, as it may become hot.
- Do not operate while distracted (talking, texting, using your phone).
- Do not ride where prohibited or near motor vehicles/public roads.
- Do not climb or travel down steep hills.
- The scooter is designed for a single rider; do not carry passengers.
- Do not carry loads attached to the handlebar.
- Individuals with balance issues should not operate the scooter.
- Pregnant women or those preparing for pregnancy should not operate the scooter.
- Young children and the elderly require proper instruction and supervision.
- At higher speeds, account for increased stopping distances.
- Do not step forward of your scooter.
- Do not attempt to jump on or off the scooter.
- Do not attempt stunts or tricks.
- Avoid riding in dark or poorly lit areas.
- Do not ride over potholes or cracks.
- Do not operate off-road.
- Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 100 kg.
- Avoid unsafe areas with flammable materials (gas, steam, liquid, dust, fiber).
- Recommended for users aged 10+ and between 130-200 cm tall.
- Always respect traffic laws, road codes, and vulnerable road users.
- Notify pedestrians or cyclists of your presence when necessary.
- Use protected crossings.
- Take care of yourself and others.
- Do not misuse the vehicle; it is not intended for acrobatic use.
- Periodically inspect the frame, fork, and suspension attachments.
- Regularly check the tightening of bolted elements (wheel axles, folding system, steering system, brake shaft).
- Do not modify or transform the vehicle.
- Ensure tire pressure is between 45-50 psi.
- Be aware that mechanical components are subject to wear and stress; inspect for damage like cracks or discoloration, which may indicate the component has exceeded its service life.
- Follow instructions for routine inspection, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Understand the power assistance start mode.
- Operate within temperature limits of -20°C to 50°C. Do not expose to fire.
- Store properly if not used for over 30 days, charging every 30 days.
- The equipment contains a radio transmitting module (CMIIT ID: 2021DP11017).
- Learn basic riding practices to avoid accidents.
- Keep these instructions for future reference.
Cleaning And Storage
Cleaning:
- Use a soft cloth dipped in water for general cleaning.
- For stubborn stains, use toothpaste and a brush, then wipe with a damp cloth.
- For scratched plastic parts, use sandpaper or other abrasive materials for polishing.
Tips:
- Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive solvents, as they can damage the scooter's appearance and internal structure.
- Avoid using a pressure water gun for washing.
- Ensure the scooter is off and the charging port rubber cover is securely fastened during cleaning to prevent electric shock or failure from water ingress.
- When not in use, store the scooter indoors in a dry and cool place. Avoid long-term outdoor storage, as sun exposure, overheating, and cold environments can accelerate wear on the scooter and battery.
Tire Inflation and Maintenance
The LEQISMART A8 uses puncture-proof tubeless tires.
- Check tire pressure before riding, ensuring it is between 45-50 psi.
- Inflate the tires if their height sinks by 20%-30%.
- The recommended tire pressure after inflation is 45-50 psi.
- Inflate tires at least once every 2-3 months.
- Regular inflation and cleaning of tire debris can extend tire life.
Battery Maintenance
- Use only LEQISMART battery packs or those of the same specifications to avoid safety risks.
- Do not disassemble, squeeze, puncture, or throw the product into water or fire. Avoid exposing it to temperatures above 50°C.
- Water ingress can damage the internal circuit and pose a fire or explosion risk. If water is suspected to have entered the battery, stop using it immediately and contact after-sales service.
- Do not touch battery contacts or use metal objects that could cause short circuits or damage.
- Avoid recharging the battery when it is completely depleted; recharge as soon as possible to prolong its service life.
- Only use the original power adapter for charging to prevent damage or fire.
- Fully charge the battery before storing it to help extend its life.
- Do not expose the scooter to temperatures above 50°C or below -20°C. Do not place it in a car exposed to direct sunlight in summer. Do not throw it into a fire.
- Battery performance and range are optimal at normal temperatures. Performance decreases in environments below 0°C.
- If the scooter is not used for over 30 days, fully charge it, store it in a cool, dry place, and recharge it every 30 days.
- Improper disposal of used batteries can pollute the environment. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
Environmental Protection
This product contains a rechargeable battery and electronic waste. Dispose of the product responsibly by taking it to a designated electronic waste collection point, rather than with general household waste, to protect the environment.
After-sales Service
This product adheres to relevant laws and regulations:
- No reason to return within 7 days of purchase.
- Replacement of products with quality problems within 1 month.
- Warranty service is available for product quality issues within 12 months of purchase, provided the purchase certificate is presented.
ℹ️ Attention: Keep the original packing case for at least 1 month from the day after signing for the product.
Non-warranty Rule
Warranty services do not apply in the following cases:
- Lack of warranty voucher or expired warranty period.
- Product damage resulting from failure to use, maintain, or keep the product as per the manual.
- Damage caused by unauthorized dismantling or repairing.
- Damage due to force majeure.
- Normal wear and tear from regular use.
