3.0 Safety Instructions
WARNINGS
- Please read this user manual carefully to ensure the child's safety. Many avoidable injuries are caused by careless and improper use of the seat.
- The seat must only be installed on car seats facing the direction of travel. It is forbidden to install the seat on car seats facing backwards or sideways (fig. A.2).
- If installing the seat on the front seat, the front airbag must be deactivated. It is recommended to place the seat exclusively on the rear seats of the vehicle. Instructions on the suitability of car seats with the seat can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
- Ensure that the integrated belts are adapted to the child's body and are not twisted. Avoid bulky clothing under the belts.
- The lap belt should pass as low as possible through the child's pelvis for optimal safety in case of an accident.
- Replace the seat if it has been subjected to violent impact in a road accident.
- Do not make any modifications to the seat without the approval of the competent authorities. Failure to observe the installation instructions can pose risks to life and health.
- Protect the seat from direct sunlight, as some elements can heat up and burn the child's skin. Protect the child and the seat from solar radiation.
- Never leave the child unattended in the seat.
- Ensure that luggage and other objects in the vehicle are securely fastened, especially those on the rear shelf, as they could cause injuries in case of impact.
- Do not use the seat without the cover.
- Do not use replacement covers other than those indicated by the manufacturer. The cover is an integral part of the car seat's safety system.
- Do not use attachment points other than those described in the user manual and indicated on the car seat.
- All rigid and plastic parts of the seat must be positioned and secured so that they are not blocked or trapped by the sliding seat or vehicle doors under normal operating conditions.
- Regularly inspect the technical condition of the seat, paying particular attention to attachment points, seams, and adjustment components. Ensure all mechanical components are fully functional. Never apply grease or oil to the seat components.
- Discontinue use of the seat if any component is damaged or loose.
- In case of emergency, it is important to quickly unbuckle the safety belts. For this reason, the integrated belt release buckle is not fully protected. Ensure the child knows not to play with the harness.
- It is important to set a good example for children and always fasten the safety belts. An adult not wearing a seat belt can also pose a danger to the child.
- Ensure the seat is correctly fastened before every car journey.
- The seat must be fastened in the car even when not in use. Even in case of emergency braking, an unfastened seat can cause injuries to passengers.
- For some car seats with delicate materials, the use of the car seat may leave marks or cause discoloration. To avoid this, place a blanket, towel, or similar product under the car seat.
4.0 Using the Insert
The insert (fig. B.1, p. 15) enhances comfort and provides additional support for younger children. It is recommended to use both the lower and upper parts, which serve as a headrest, until the child needs more space in the seat. At this point, the inserts can be removed.
4.1 Installing the Insert
- Unfasten the integrated belts (5) by pressing the red button on the buckle (6).
- Position the insert (14) in the seat so that it fits snugly on the sides.
- Adjust the position of the integrated belts. Ensure the integrated belts are not twisted.
- Position the upper part on the headrest using the strap.
5.0 Using the Seat
5.1 Adjusting the Headrest and Safety Belts
The seat features an integrated headrest and safety belt adjustment. The headrest should be adjusted to the child's height. The integrated safety belts will adjust in height simultaneously with the headrest. Before changing the headrest position, loosen the seat belts (5) by pressing the adjustment button (8) and pulling the shoulder straps towards you (fig. C.1).
A correctly positioned headrest ensures proper belt placement on the shoulders and provides comfort and protection for the child.
ATTENTION! To position the shoulder straps (C) at the correct height, position the belt so that it enters the seat backrest slightly above the child's shoulders (fig. C.2).
- To raise the headrest and shoulder straps, grasp the headrest adjustment lever (11) located on the back of the headrest (1) and pull it up slightly. The headrest will unlock.
- You can now adjust the headrest (1) to the desired height (fig. C.3). Once set to the correct height, release the adjustment lever (11); the headrest will lock in place with slight upward or downward movements.
- IMPORTANT! Ensure the headrest is locked.
- To lower the headrest and shoulder straps, pull the headrest adjustment lever (11) and lower the headrest. The headrest and shoulder straps will lower simultaneously.
5.2 Fastening the Child with the Integrated Harness
ATTENTION! The correct adjustment of the headrest height directly impacts the child's safety. Position the seat on the car seat. Accommodate the child in the seat and check the headrest height. Attention! If necessary, repeat the headrest height adjustment until the optimal height is reached.
- Loosen the integrated belts as much as possible by pressing the button (8) and pulling the harness straps (fig. C.4).
- Open the buckle (6) and place the harness belts on the sides of the seat (fig. B.5). Place the child in the seat (fig. B.6).
- Adjust the headrest according to the child's height (see section 5.1).
- Join the two interlocking connectors, then insert them into the buckle hole (6), you will hear a characteristic “click” (fig. B.7).
5.3 Adjusting the Integrated Belts
- Pull the shoulder straps to eliminate excess space in the abdominal area, ensuring the inner belts are taut.
- Tension the shoulder straps using the adjustment strap (8) until they fit snugly and evenly against the child's body (fig. C.8).
- ATTENTION! The abdominal integrated belts should be positioned as low as possible on the child's pelvis. Ensure the integrated belts are not twisted (fig. C.9).
6.0 Vehicle Installation
In case of emergency braking or an accident, unbuckled passengers can cause injuries to other passengers. Always ensure that:
- Car seat backs are locked (i.e., the car seat recline lock is engaged).
- All heavy or sharp-edged objects are securely fastened (e.g., on the rear shelf).
- All passengers have fastened their seat belts.
- The seat is fastened even when not in use for transporting the child.
6.1 Installing the Seat Forward-Facing for Children Aged 76 to 105 cm Using the 3-Point Vehicle Seat Belt
- Adjust the height of the shoulder straps and headrest to the child's height (see section 5.1).
- Position the seat on the car seat, ensuring the car seat headrest does not obstruct the child seat from adhering uniformly to the car seat backrest.
- Extend the vehicle's seat belt. Open the vehicle seat belt attachment (13). Pass the diagonal belt through the indicated attachment (13) on the side of the seat. Pass the lap belt behind the cover on the back of the seat (fig. D.1).
- Pass the buckle along with the shoulder straps and the lap belt to the opposite side of the seat, passing behind its backrest (fig. D.2).
- Fasten the 3-point vehicle seat belt until you hear a “click” (fig. D.4).
- ATTENTION! Ensure the belts are taut throughout their length. Ensure all belts are correctly positioned and not twisted. Verify that the cover does not obstruct belt movement.
- Follow sections 5.2 and 5.3.
6.2 Installing the Seat Forward-Facing for Children Aged 100 to 150 cm Using the Vehicle Seat Belt
6.2.1 Retracting the Internal Belts

6.2.2 Securing the Seat
Before starting the seat installation procedures, remove the seat's harness (see section 6.2.1). Remember! The insert and protective covers should be stored in a safe place for future use.
- Adjust the headrest to the child's height (see section 5.1).
- Slide the shoulder protection belt through the green belt guide (2) (fig. D.1).
- Place the child in the seat and slide the lap belt (13) under the armrests (the belt line is indicated in green) (fig. D.2).
- Fasten the vehicle seat belt, you will hear a characteristic “click” (fig. D.3).
- Tension the vehicle seat belts by first pulling the lap belt part, then the shoulder protection belt (fig. D.4). Ensure the lap belt passes as low as possible over the child's pelvis, passes through the belt guides, and is fastened with the buckle. The shoulder protection belt should pass between the shoulder and the child's neck. The belt must not be twisted.
