- Do NOT install the child seat on seats facing rearwards or sideways.
- Do NOT install the child seat on seats equipped with an active front airbag.
- The child seat can only be attached to the middle seat if it has 3-point seat belts.
- If the child seat is installed in the front passenger seat, the front airbag must be deactivated.
- It is recommended to install the child seat only on the rear seats of the vehicle.
Information on the suitability of the car seat for use with a child seat can be found in the vehicle's operating manual.
- Ensure that the internal harnesses holding your child are suitable for your child's build and are not twisted. Therefore, do not place thick clothing under the child's harness.
- The lap belts of the seat belt must run as low as possible over your child's pelvis to ensure optimal effect in case of an accident.
- The seat must be replaced if it has been subjected to strong forces in a traffic accident.
- The car seat must not be modified in any way without the permission of the competent approval authority. If the seat is not installed according to the manufacturer's instructions, this can lead to dangers for life and health.
- Protect the car child seat from direct sunlight, as your child may burn on the heated parts. Protect your child and the child seat from sunlight.
- Never leave a child unattended in a child seat.
- Ensure that luggage and other items are adequately secured, especially on the shelf under the rear window, as they can cause injuries in the event of a collision.
- The seat must not be used without the cover.
- Do not use any replacement cover other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, as it is an essential part of the seat's safety system.
- Do not use any fastening points other than those described in the instructions and marked on the seat.
- All hard parts and plastic parts of the child seat must be positioned and installed in such a way that they cannot be pinched by the sliding seat or the vehicle door under normal use conditions.
- Regularly check the condition of the seat, paying particular attention to the fastening points, seams, and adjustment parts. Ensure that all mechanical parts are fully functional. Never lubricate or oil components of the child seat.
- Do not use the seat if parts are damaged or loose.
- In an emergency, it is important to release the harness quickly. This means that the button for releasing the harness is not fully secured.
- Set a good example for your child and always buckle up. An adult who is not buckled up can also pose a danger to a child.
- Before every car journey, ensure that the seat is correctly fastened.
- The seat should also be secured when not in use. An unsecured child seat can also lead to injuries to the occupants in the event of sudden braking.
- With some vehicle seats made of sensitive materials, the use of the car seat may leave marks and/or cause discoloration. To prevent this, you can place a blanket, towel, or similar item under the car seat.
