The screw(s) supplied shall only be used with walls where wooden or metal studs are available and reachable, or in-wall blocking has been installed between studs. Assembly Steps
The following steps detail the assembly and installation of the BRÄNNBOLL wall-mounted display cabinet. Ensure all parts are present before beginning.
Step 1: Prepare the Panels
Lay out the main panels. Ensure you have the correct orientation as shown in the diagrams.
Step 2: Attach Connectors
Insert the provided connectors (part 118331) into the designated holes on the panels. Use a screwdriver to tighten them.
Step 3: Assemble the Frame
Connect the side panels to the base panel using the provided screws (part 101345). Ensure a snug fit.
Step 4: Attach Back Panel
Slide the back panel into the grooves on the side and base panels. Secure it with screws (part 100214).
Step 5: Install Shelf Supports
Insert the shelf supports (part 119252) into the pre-drilled holes on the side panels at your desired height.
Step 6: Place Shelves
Carefully place the glass shelves onto the installed shelf supports.
Step 7: Wall Mounting Preparation
Determine the desired location for the cabinet on the wall. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the drilling points through the mounting holes on the back of the cabinet onto the wall.
Step 8: Drill Holes and Insert Wall Plugs
Drill holes at the marked points using the appropriate drill bit size (refer to diagrams for specific sizes like Ø 8 mm or Ø 3 mm). Insert the wall plugs (part 109048) into the drilled holes.
Step 9: Attach Mounting Brackets to Wall
Align the mounting brackets with the holes in the wall and secure them using the provided screws (part 109534). Ensure the brackets are firmly attached.
Step 10: Hang the Cabinet
Carefully lift the assembled cabinet and hook it onto the mounted brackets. Ensure it is securely seated.
Step 11: Secure the Cabinet to the Wall
Use the remaining screws (part 100001) to secure the cabinet to the mounting brackets from the inside, as shown in the diagrams.
Step 12: Final Check
Gently test the stability of the mounted cabinet. Ensure all connections are tight and the cabinet is secure.
Alternative Wall Mounting Methods
The provided screws and plugs are suitable for most solid (A) and hollow (B) walls. For solid wood (C), use screws without plugs. If you are uncertain about your wall type or the correct mounting method, always seek professional advice.
Wall Types:
- Type A (Solid Wall): Use screws and plugs.
- Type B (Hollow Wall): Use screws and plugs designed for hollow walls.
- Type C (Solid Wood): Use screws without plugs.
Drill Bit Sizes:
- For Type A and B walls: Ø 8 mm (5/16") drill bit.
- For Type C walls: Ø 3 mm (1/8") drill bit.
Mounting Bracket Installation Details:
- Ensure the mounting brackets are level and securely fastened to the wall.
- The screws used for wall mounting should be appropriate for the wall type.
Care and Maintenance
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Check regularly that all assembly fastenings are properly tightened.
