Care and Use
Initial Use
- Remove all labels from the product prior to use and rinse with clean water.
- Before first use, boil the pan with water 2 to 3 times to completely remove manufacturing residues.
- Lightly grease the pan.
Cooking Advice
- Do not overheat the pan while empty or filled to prevent weakening of the non-stick effect or damage to the coating.
- Heat food at medium/high heat, then reduce to low heat for cooking.
- Never leave the pan unsupervised while heating fat; overheated fat can ignite. Extinguish grease fires with a lid or dense wool blanket, never with water.
- Use only plastic or wooden kitchen utensils to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
- Do not add dripping wet meat to the pan; splattering grease onto a hot hob can easily cause a fire.
- The handle may get hot during cooking. Use a pot holder or grill gloves for protection.
- The pan is suitable for gas, electric, glass ceramic, and halogen cooker hobs.
- The pan is suitable for keeping dishes warm inside the oven (max. 150 °C).
- Select the cooking plate matching the pan's diameter to avoid heat loss.
- This pan is not suitable for dishwashers.
- Avoid using sharp or pointy objects or brushes to prevent material damage.
- Frequent cleaning with harsh cleaners may damage or discolor the pan.
Surface Protection & Safety
- Risk of Scratches: Do not slide cookware back and forth on glass-ceramic hobs. Always lift the pan before changing its position. Marks from moving pans with exposed aluminum bases on ceramic surfaces can usually be removed with ceramic cleaner.
- Recommendation: Wipe the hob surface and the cookware bottom with a clean, lint-free cloth (e.g., microfiber) before cooking to reduce the risk of scratches.
- Caution: Scalding Risk: Pour hot liquids carefully and steadily. Ensure no other persons, especially children, are in the immediate vicinity when pouring.
- Attention: Personal Protective Equipment: If necessary, use an oven mitt or comparably effective personal protective equipment (PPE) when pouring.
- Caution: Fire Risk: Immediately wipe off hot oil or other liquids that run down the pot or drip onto the cooking surface during pouring with a suitable cloth. Otherwise, there is a risk of fire.

- Food safe: this pan does not affect the taste or odour of prepared foods.
