Installation Instructions

Remove the rear bumper. This involves removing four fixings along the lower edge of the bumper, six fixings in each wheel arch, one fixing on each side in the lower corner, one fixing under each light cluster, and two fixings behind the side trim on each side.
Remove the bumper beam. This component is not re-fitted with the towbar. Replace existing bumper beam bolts to prevent water damage.
Locate item B (Side Arms) into each chassis. Using items F (M12 x 40 Bolts) with item G (Flat Washers), loosely bolt the Side Arms to the existing mounting points.
Using items F (M12 x 40 Bolts) with item G (Flat Washers), loosely bolt the Crossmember (Item A) to the Side Arms (Item B).
Using items E (M12 x 110 Bolts) with item G (Flat Washers) and item H (Spacer Plates), bolt the Swan Neck (Item C) and the Socket Plate (Item D) to the Crossmember (Item A).
Fully tighten all nuts and bolts. Ensure the towbar assembly is rigid and secure.
If required, cut a section from the lower edge of the bumper to suit the towbar fitment. Refer to the accompanying sketch for guidance.
Replace the bumper.

Diagram Description

The diagram illustrates the towbar assembly (TS626SN) fitted to the rear of a vehicle chassis, compatible with Audi A3, Skoda Octavia, and Skoda Superb models. It shows the main Crossmember (A) mounted between the chassis rails, supported by Side Arms (B). The Swan Neck (C) and Socket Plate (D) are attached to the Crossmember. Important Notes

Recommended Torque Setting for M12 Grade 10.9 bolts is 139 Nm. For other torque settings, please refer to the notes overleaf (not provided in this document).
Observe the specified nose load limits and the vehicle manufacturer's trailer/caravan weight limits.
