EPOMAKER TH96 Quick Start Guide

Product Overview

The EPOMAKER TH96 is a 95% hot-swappable RGB mechanical gaming keyboard designed for a premium gaming experience. It offers versatile connectivity options including wired Type-C, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth.

Connectivity and Pairing

Bluetooth Pairing (Triple-Mode Version Only)

Ensure the switch at the back is set to wireless mode. Hold Fn + 1!/2@/3# (or 1!/2"/3£ in ISO layout) for 3-5 seconds until the indicators flash blue. On your device, find and connect to "TH96 BT5.0" or "TH96 BT3.0". Press Fn + 1!/2@/3# to toggle between Bluetooth devices.

2.4GHz Wireless Pairing (Triple-Mode Version Only)

Ensure the switch at the back is set to wireless mode. Hold Fn + 4$ for 3-5 seconds until the light flashes green. Insert the 2.4G dongle into your device. The 4$ key will stop flashing green when connected.

Wired Mode

Toggle the switch to wired mode and press Fn + 5% until the 5% key lights up white. The keyboard will enter wired mode.

Function Key Combinations

Light Effects

• Fn + Esc (Hold 3s): Reset Keyboard
• Fn + Backspace: Turn Backlights On/Off
• Fn + \: Toggle RGB Effects
• Fn + P: Toggle RGB Colors
• Fn + D: Change Dynamic RGB Directions
• Fn + ↓: Decrease Backlight Brightness
• Fn + ↑: Increase Backlight Brightness
• Fn + ←: Decrease Backlight Speed
• Fn + →: Increase Backlight Speed

Function Key Combinations

• Fn + F1-F12: Various shortcuts including screen brightness, task management, media control, and volume adjustment. (Refer to the manual for specific functions for Windows and macOS).
• Fn + Win: Lock/Unlock Windows Key
• Fn + /: Numlock
• Fn + Z/X/C: Switch between Layers 1/2/3
• Fn + Spacebar (Hold): Check Layer & Mode
• Fn + B: Battery Check (Triple-Mode Version Only)

Removing Switches

1. Align the switch puller tool with the switch and apply pressure to release it from the plate.
2. Gently pull the switch upwards vertically.

Installing Switches

1. Ensure switch pins are clean and straight.
2. Align the switch vertically with the PCB and press down until it clicks into place.
3. Inspect and test the switch.

Note: If a key does not work, the switch pins may be bent. Remove and reinstall the switch.
