Keyboard Layout and Features

The EPOMAKER TH80 SE features a 75% layout with a rotary knob. It supports hot-swappable switches, RGB backlighting, and multiple connectivity options.

Connectivity Options

The keyboard can connect via:

• Bluetooth: Supports up to three Bluetooth devices. To pair, toggle the switch on the back to wireless mode, hold Fn + 1/2/3 for 3-5 seconds until the indicator flashes blue. Then, search for "TH80 SE BT5.0" or "TH80 SE BT3.0" on your device and connect. Press Fn + 1/2/3 to switch between paired devices.
• 2.4GHz Wireless: Toggle the switch on the back to 2.4G wireless mode. Insert the 2.4G dongle into your device. The '4' key indicator will light up green for 2 seconds upon successful connection.
• Wired Mode: Toggle the switch on the back to wired mode. Connect the keyboard using the included Type-C cable. The '5' key indicator will light up white when successfully connected.

Function Key Combinations

The keyboard includes various function key combinations for enhanced control:

Windows Shortcuts

• Fn + F1-F12: Control screen brightness, tasks, email, computer functions, media playback, volume, and mute.
• Fn + U: Print Screen
• Fn + 1: Scroll Lock
• Fn + O: Pause
• Fn + DEL: Insert
• Fn + PG DN: End
• Fn + WIN: Lock/Unlock Windows Key

macOS Shortcuts

• Fn + F1-F12: Similar functions to Windows shortcuts, controlling screen brightness, tasks, search, mail, sleep, media playback, volume, and mute.

Function Key Combinations

• Fn + ESC (HOLD 3S): Reset Keyboard to factory settings.
• Fn + 1/2/3: Short press to switch between Bluetooth devices 1/2/3; long press to pair.
• Fn + 4: Short press to switch to 2.4G mode; long press to pair.
• Fn + 5: Wired Mode.
• Fn + Z/X/C: Switch between Layer 1/2/3.
• Fn + PG UP: Toggle Badge Light Effect.
• Fn + HOME: Toggle Badge Color.
• Fn + SPACEBAR (HOLD): Check Layer and Mode.

Light Effects

• Fn + BACKSPACE: Turn Backlights On/Off.
• Fn + \: Cycle through RGB Effects.
• Fn + ENTER: Cycle through RGB Colors.
• Fn + ↓: Decrease Backlight Brightness.
• Fn + ↑: Increase Backlight Brightness.
• Fn + ←: Decrease Backlight Speed.
• Fn + →: Increase Backlight Speed.

Battery Check

Hold Fn + B to display the current battery percentage. Keys 1 through 0 will illuminate, with 1 indicating 10% and 0 indicating 100%.

Replacing Keycaps and Switches

The EPOMAKER TH80 SE features hot-swappable switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering.

1. Remove Keycaps: Use the included keycap puller to gently pull the keycap straight up.
2. Remove Switches: Use the included switch puller. Align the gripping teeth vertically with the switch. Grip the switch and apply pressure until it releases from the plate. Pull the switch straight up with a firm but gentle motion. Ensure pins are straight before removal.
3. Install Switches: Ensure switch pins are clean and straight. Align the switch vertically with the PCB slots. Press down firmly until the switch clicks into place. Test the switch.

Note: If a key does not work after installation, it may be due to bent pins. Remove and reinstall the switch. If pins are damaged, they may need replacement. Avoid excessive force during replacement.
