Sensitive Skin Recommendations
The materials used for our Smartwatches and Smartbands are selected following a rigorous control of hypoallergenic measures, complying with current regulations for materials in contact with the skin. However, a small number of people may experience skin reactions.
If you have sensitive skin or suspect an allergy, monitor the use of the device for any reaction. Smartwatches may contain materials like nickel and acrylates which, even within permitted manufacturing amounts, can cause reactions in sensitive individuals.
Prolonged use can increase susceptibility to skin sensitivities. To avoid irritation:
- Do not expose the device to chemicals.
- Avoid using the device if your skin has or has recently been exposed to:
- Insect repellents
- Moisturizing creams and lotions
- Oils
- Perfumes
- Antiseptic gels
- Soaps
- Sun protection creams
Ensure skin is dry and free of the above products when wearing the watch. The device is not submersible or waterproof.
Clean the device thoroughly after training and allow it to dry. Prolonged moisture can cause skin irritation.
Adjust strap tightness for air circulation. A strap that is too tight may cause irritation; too loose may cause chafing.
Skin Care and Static Electricity
The watch strap should allow slight movement. For prolonged wear, remove the device periodically to rest your skin, or swap it to your other wrist to avoid irritation.
If you notice redness, swelling, itching, or any irritation, remove the Smartwatch immediately and consult your physician before using it again.
Low Humidity Conditions: In dry environments (low humidity, dry indoors, constant heating/air conditioning), the device may be affected by static electricity, potentially damaging the device or the wearer. Static electricity is ubiquitous.
To mitigate static electricity at home:
- Use a humidifier.
- Place small containers of water on radiators.
Avoid wearing the device in bed while sleeping, especially for children and the elderly, as friction with bedding can generate static electricity, potentially causing battery discharge or heating. The human body is conductive and can react with sensitive skin.
If you experience any reaction, remove the watch and consult your physician.
Device Maintenance and Charging
Please remember these tips for maintaining your smart watch:
- Clean the smart watch regularly, especially its inner side, and keep it dry.
- Adjust the smart watch tightness to ensure air circulation.
- Avoid excessive skincare products on the wrist wearing the smart watch.
- Cease wearing the smart watch in case of skin allergy or any discomfort.
Product Description and Charging
Before using the Smart Watch for the first time, perform a full charge using the provided charging cable. Connect the magnetic part of the charging cable to the back of the Smart Watch and the USB end to a USB adapter (not provided) or a computer's USB port.

Guarantee Information
The FILA Smart Watch SW/40 comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. The durability of the product's components is important, and they may degrade or lose capacity due to use. Normal wear and tear, especially for rechargeable batteries, is expected and depends on external factors like usage hours, charge/discharge cycles, charger type, and operating temperatures.
The loss of battery autonomy due to aging is not considered a manufacturing defect. It is normal for batteries to lose capacity over time (e.g., 10% after 6 months, 20%-30% after 15 months, 45% after 24 months), assuming proper use and charge cycles. Any battery issues not covered by this manual will be inspected by technical service.
Safety Warnings
Important Safety Information
Handle the Smart Watch with care. It contains sensitive electronic components, including batteries, and may malfunction, affect performance, or cause damage if:
- Dropped, burned, punctured, crushed, or disassembled.
- Exposed to excessive heat, liquid, high-pressure environments, industrial chemicals, or liquefied gases (like helium).
Do not use the Smart Band if it is damaged.
Batteries
Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself, as this could damage the watch and cause overheating or injury.

Charge the Smart Watch using the provided charging cable and a power adapter or computer. Use only adapters that meet relevant national, international, and regional safety standards. Using unapproved adapters or damaged/wet cables/chargers may pose a risk of injury, electric shock, fire, or damage.
Prolonged Exposure to Heat
Avoid prolonged skin contact with the device, power adapter, charging cable, or wireless charger when connected to a power source, as this may cause discomfort or injury.
Choking Hazard
The Smart Watch and its small parts can present a choking hazard to small children. Always keep them out of reach.
Interference with Medical Devices
The Smart Watch and charger emit electromagnetic fields. These fields and magnets may interfere with the operation of pacemakers, defibrillators, or other medical devices. Maintain a safe distance between the medical device and the Smart Watch. Consult your doctor and the medical device manufacturer for specific information. Stop using the Smart Watch if you suspect interference with your medical device.
