This manual provides instructions for the DEPSTECH DS320 Industrial Endoscope.

Product Features

DEPSTECH is an emerging technology company specializing in creating various endoscopes, aiming to enhance user safety. The DS320 is a high-performance industrial endoscope featuring a 4.3-inch IPS display with high resolution for capturing images and recording videos. These are stored on a TF (Micro-SD) memory card. Powered by a high-performance CMOS chip and Bluart 3.0 technology, it provides clear images with a high frame rate. It is commonly used in industrial maintenance, appliance repair, mechanical maintenance, design, and various other fields.

Please note that the TF card is not included; purchasing one separately is recommended for taking photos or videos.

Special Warnings and Precautions

  • This product is an industrial endoscope camera; it is not suitable for medical or physical examinations!
  • To extend battery life, it is recommended to charge the device once every 3 months, regardless of usage.
  • Do not attempt to replace the internal battery yourself, as improper handling may lead to risks of personal injury due to battery overheating or other issues.

Safety and Protection

  • The camera probe is a high-precision electronic device. Avoid hitting or pulling the cables, as this may cause device malfunction.
  • With its IP67 waterproof rating, the probe must be used with increased caution and protected from scratches.
  • The camera probe is made from materials not resistant to high temperatures. When inspecting internal combustion engines or other devices with high internal temperatures, ensure the internal temperature is cooled down to prevent direct damage to the device.
  • If the device is damaged, do not disassemble it yourself. Contact the seller or supplier for more professional service.
  • Children must not use this device unsupervised.

Operating and Storage Environment

  • The device should be operated at an ambient temperature of 0-45 °C (32-113 °F).
  • The device should be stored in a dry, clean, oil-free, water-free location, away from chemical liquids.

Product Information - Front Panel

The front panel features several buttons for operation:

  1. Power Button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the endoscope on/off. A single press saves a photo or ends video recording. Press and hold for 2 seconds to end video recording.
  2. Camera/Video Button: Press to increase LED brightness. Press again to decrease LED brightness.
  3. Playback/Navigation Button: Press to move the cursor down (in menus). Press to move the cursor up (in menus).
  4. Mode/Return Button: Press to rotate the image 180° in real-time. Press and hold for 2 seconds to switch between main/side cameras (if the product has dual or triple lenses). Press to return to the previous menu level.
  5. Gallery/Freeze Button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to enter or exit the album/gallery. Press to freeze/unfreeze the screen.
  6. OK Button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to enter or exit the album. Press to confirm a selection (in menus).
  7. Menu Button: Press to enter the menu.

Bottom Part and User Interface

Bottom Part

  • 9. TF Card Slot: Supports up to 32GB TF cards. Format the card before first use.
  • 10. Type-C Charging Port: For charging (connect Type-C cable to adapter) or data transfer (connect Type-C cable to a computer).
  • 11. Reset Button: A short press with a reset pin turns off and resets the device.
  • 12. Charging LED Indicator: Red LED stays on while charging. Green LED lights up when charging is complete.
  • 13. Lanyard Hole: For attaching a lanyard.

The preview screen displays:

  • Screen Rotation 180°
  • Battery Power Indicator
  • TF Card Status
  • Main Lens (A)
  • Side Lens (B)
  • Side Lens (C)
  • Timestamp

Tips:

  • Dual Lens: A: Main Lens, B: Side Lens
  • Triple Lens: A: Main Lens, B: Side Lens (B), C: Side Lens (C)

Language and Photo/Video Operation

Language Settings

The default language is English. To change the language, follow these steps:

  1. Press the [settings] button ⚙️ to enter the menu. Use the arrow buttons ▶◀ to select the language, then press the OK button to enter the language settings interface.
  2. Use the arrow buttons ▶◀ to select the desired language, then press the OK button to switch.
  3. Press the [return] button (usually the mode/return button) to go back to the main interface.

Photo/Video Operation

  • Press the [camera] button ? to take photos.
  • Press and hold the [record] button ▶️ to start recording video. A short press stops video recording.

Viewing and Deleting Media

Viewing Photos/Videos

  1. In preview mode, press and hold the OK button to enter the photo album.
  2. Use the ▶◀ buttons to browse photos. Press OK to play videos.
  3. Press and hold OK to exit the photo album.

Deleting Photos/Videos

  1. While viewing photos/videos, press the [settings] button ⚙️ to go to the photo/video detail page.
  2. Use the ▶◀ buttons to select whether to delete the current file or all files.

Lens Switching and Formatting

Switching Lenses

(Available only for products with dual and triple lenses) After powering on, the main lens is active by default. Press and hold the [switch lens] button for 2 seconds to switch lenses.

Formatting TF Card

  1. In the preview interface, press the [settings] button ⚙️ to enter the menu.
  2. Use the ▶◀ buttons to select "Format".
  3. Press the OK button to enter the selection interface, then select "OK".
  4. Wait for the formatting to complete.

File Transfer and Charging

Copying Photo and Video Files to Computer

  1. For direct data copying, use a TF card reader.
  2. For copying via cable, use the Micro USB cable to connect to a computer.
    • Connect the device to the computer.
    • Press the [menu] button ⚙️ to enter the menu.
    • Select "Data transmission" (File Transfer).
    • Press the OK button to start copying to the computer.

    If the device is not connected to the computer, click "Data transmission" in the settings interface. A USB icon will appear on the display; press the [disconnect] button to exit. It is normal to see "No Signal" when pressing the [disconnect] button to end data transfer.

Charging Instructions

  • Connect the device to a DC 5V adapter for charging.
  • The indicator light remains red during charging and turns green when fully charged.

Accessory Installation Guide

Installation Method:

  • Turn counter-clockwise to remove the protective cover.
  • Turn clockwise to tighten the accessory.
