Bluetooth Pairing

Charging
Connect the headphones to a computer or device with a 5V USB output (or less).

Button Functions
- Volume Up: Press once.
- Next Track: Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
- Volume Down: Press once.
- Previous Track: Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
- Play/Pause/Answer/Hang Up Call: Press once.
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1 second.
- Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google": Double-press.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Refer to the Bluetooth Pairing section.
Equalizer (EQ) Change (Gaming / Music): Press both buttons simultaneously for at least 1 second.
- GAMING: One beep. Provides increased response to mid-range frequencies for clearer voices and better spatial awareness.
- MUSIC: Two beeps. Offers amplified vocals and bass for optimal music playback.
Extend Microphone: Press to extend the button (blue circle visible).
Mute Microphone: Press to retract the button (blue circle hidden).

Voice Prompts
- Power On: Audible tone.
- Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps.
- Low Battery: Voice prompt "Low battery" (when below 20%).
- Power Off: Audible tone.
Remarks
- Microphone and game sound volume depend on your console's settings when using the AUX input. Adjust settings accordingly.
- The retractable microphone and mute function work in both Bluetooth and AUX modes.
- The buttons on the earcups only control their corresponding functions in Bluetooth mode.
Playing on Console or Mobile Device
- Connect the micro-USB end of the cable to the headphones' micro-USB port.
- Connect the other end (AUX plug) to your controller's or device's AUX input.

PC / Mac Bluetooth Configuration
PC Configuration (Windows 7, 8, or 10):
- Select "Control Panel" from the Start menu.
- Go to the "Hardware and Sound" category.
- Select the "Sound" category.
- The "Playback" tab should show the JLab Play Gaming headphones connected as the default device.
- Click the "Recording" tab.
- Right-click the JLab Play Gaming headphones icon and choose the option "Set as Default Device".
- Click OK to save changes.
Mac Configuration (macOS 10.1 and later):
- Open "System Preferences" and click the "Sound" icon.
- Go to the "Input" tab and select "JLab Play".
- Go to the "Output" tab and select "JLab Play".
- On this screen, adjust the output volume to your desired level.
- Close the window to save these settings.
Safety Warnings
- Avoid any presence of moisture or liquid in the headphones.
- Avoid exposing the product to extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
- Avoid dropping the headphones, stepping on them, damaging the cable by pulling it quickly or with excessive force, or bending the cable at a sharp angle.
- Earwax may accumulate in the headphones, deteriorating audio quality. Carefully remove earwax using a cotton swab or other small object to improve audio quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily stop using the device.
- If you experience recurring discomfort while using this product, stop using it and consult a doctor.
- We recommend taking care of your headphones as you would a pair of sunglasses, and storing them in a secure place when not in use.
