3. Getting Online
Step 1: SIM Card Requirements
To get the tracker online, a suitable SIM card is required. It must meet the following criteria:
- Compatible with 4G LTE or 2G GSM networks.
- SMS, call, and internet data traffic enabled.
- Caller ID display feature enabled.
- PIN code removed.
- Micro size SIM card recommended.
Consult your SIM card provider for the correct APN information.
Step 2: SIM Card Installation
Insert the SIM card into the designated slot in the device. It is recommended to close the cover only after the device is successfully connected online.
4. Wiring
Connect the tracker according to the wiring diagram:
- Green Wire: Door Status Detection
- Blue Wire: SOS
- Orange Wire: ACC (Accessory)
- Yellow Wire: Ignition Key
- Red Wire: VIN (Positive Power Supply)
- Black Wire: GND (Ground)
The diagram also shows connections for a relay, pump, buzzer 1, buzzer 2, and door lock/unlock mechanisms. The device can be connected to buzzers and door lock/unlock actuators.
Important Note: Ensure the tracker is connected to an external power source of at least 12V for proper operation after SIM card installation.
5. APN Configuration
Configure the Access Point Name (APN) using SMS commands. Obtain the correct APN from your SIM card provider. Move the tracker to an area with good signal strength before configuring.
SMS Command Format | Reply | Example | Note |
---|---|---|---|
APN,ApnName,User,Password# |
SET APN OK | APN,orange,orange,orange# |
Use if the SIM card has APN username and password. |
APN,ApnName# |
SET APN OK | APN,internet# |
Use if the SIM card operator does not have APN username and password. |
Note: APN information must be 100% accurate for the tracker to get online. An incorrect APN may result in a "SET APN ok" reply but prevent online connectivity.

- On a Scooter: Inside the front cover, under the pedal.
10. Troubleshooting
Issue | Troubleshooting Steps |
---|---|
Unable to connect to tracking platform | Check APN and settings. Verify SIM card data service is enabled. Check SIM card balance. |
Tracker shows offline | Ensure external power is connected. Check if the vehicle is in a network blind area. Check SIM card balance. |
Unable to locate | Ensure the top side faces upward and is not shielded by metallic objects. Verify the device is not in an area with no satellite coverage. |
Location drift | In areas with poor GNSS signals (e.g., tall buildings, basements), drifting may occur. Check if vibration triggers the accelerator. |
No command reply | Confirm the command format is correct. The vehicle might be in a network blind area. Ensure the SIM card is properly inserted and has SMS service. |
