3. Activate Device

First Step: Prepare and Install SIM Card

If using a local SIM card, ensure it has SMS, internet data traffic, call, and caller ID display functions enabled.

If using a MiCODUS SIM card, recharge it at www.spionlink.com to get a data plan.

SIM Card Types:

4. Configure APN

Obtain the correct APN name from your local SIM card provider. Ensure the tracker is in a good signal area for configuration.

Note: APN information must be accurate. Incorrect APN may result in the tracker replying "SET APN ok" but failing to get online.

1. Voice Monitor

Step 1: Set up a center number for the device.

Command: CENTER,A,CENTER NUMBER#

Example: CENTER,A,+8613655559999#

Note: Include the country code as a prefix.

Step 2: Set up a number for the tracker to call back.

Command: MONITOR,number for monitor#

Example: MONITOR,+8613366668888#

The tracker will call the specified number, allowing the user to monitor the surrounding voice.

2. Set Data Upload Interval

Command: TIMER,T1,T2#

Example: TIMER,10,3600# (Uploads every 10 seconds when the engine is on, and every 3600 seconds when off).

3. Vibration Alarm

Step 1: Set up a center number.

Command: CENTER,A,CENTER NUMBER#

Example: CENTER,A,+8613366668888#

Note: Include the country code as a prefix.

Step 2: Set up SOS contact numbers.

Command: SOS,A,SOS1,SOS2,SOS3#

Example: SOS,A,+8613366667777,+8613366667778,+8613366667779#

You can set up to 3 SOS alarm numbers.

Step 3: Set up the vibration alarm way.

Command: SENALM,A,M#

Example: SENALM,ON,1# (Vibration alarm messages sent via server and SMS).

7. Installation Recommendation

Where is the OBD interface?

Most car OBD interfaces are located in areas A and B. A smaller portion may be in C, D, and E.

8. Troubleshooting

Tracker shows offlineCheck external power connection. Ensure the vehicle is not in a network blind area. Check SIM card balance.
Unable to locateEnsure the top side faces upward without metallic shielding. Confirm there is no satellite coverage obstruction.
Location driftIn areas with poor GNSS signal (tall buildings, basements), drifting may occur. Check if vibration triggers the accelerator.
No command replyVerify the command format is correct. The vehicle might be in a network blind area. Ensure the SIM card is properly inserted and has SMS service.
