Rear Panel

Input Jack: Use a good quality speaker cable to connect the amplifier to the LF212 or LF412 cabinet.

Note: The speaker impedance must match or slightly exceed the amplifier's recommended output impedance. For example, if an amplifier's output is designed for 4 Ω speakers, it is recommended to use a 4 Ω or higher speaker cabinet.

Diagrams showing the rear panels of the LF212 and LF412 are provided, indicating input jacks and impedance ratings.

Connections

Diagrams illustrate the internal wiring for both the LF212 (2x12) and LF412 (4x12) cabinets, showing the parallel connection of the HH H1260 speakers.

Please read this user manual carefully and keep it in a safe place for future reference.

  1. Unpacking: Check for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transport. If damaged, repack and consult your retailer. Keep original packaging for potential returns.
  2. Amplifier Connection: Follow a proper power-on and power-off sequence for your system. Turn on source equipment, mixers, and effects processors before the amplifier. Turn off the amplifier last and ensure its level control is at minimum. When powering down, lower amplifier level controls first, then turn off other equipment.
  3. Cables: Use only good quality speaker cables for speaker connections. Do not use shielded or microphone cables for speaker outputs. Use shielded cables elsewhere.
  4. Servicing: Do not attempt to service this product yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  5. Heed all warnings.
  6. Follow all instructions.
  7. Do not use this apparatus near water.
  8. Clean only with a dry cloth.
  9. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
  10. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  11. Apparatus with Class I construction must be connected to a mains socket outlet with an earthing connection. Do not defeat the earthing provision. A polarized plug has two blades, one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician to replace your obsolete outlet.
  12. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  13. Use only attachments/accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
  14. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
  15. The mains plug is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily operable. The user should allow easy access to any mains plug and switch used in conjunction with this apparatus, making it readily operable. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
  16. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  17. Never defeat the ground pin. Only plug into an electrical outlet of the type indicated on the apparatus next to the power cord.
  18. If this product is to be mounted in an equipment rack, rear support should be provided.
  19. UK Only: If the colours of the wires in the power cord of this apparatus do not correspond with the markings on the plug, proceed as follows: Green and yellow wire to be connected to the terminal marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol or coloured green or green and yellow. Blue wire to be connected to the terminal marked with the letter N or coloured black. Brown wire to be connected to the terminal marked with the letter L or coloured red.
  20. This electrical apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and care should be taken not to place objects containing liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.
  21. Exposure to extremely high noise levels may cause permanent hearing loss. Individuals vary considerably in their susceptibility to noise-induced hearing loss, but almost everyone will lose some hearing if exposed to sufficient loudness for a sufficient time. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has specified the following allowable occupational noise exposures: According to OSHA, any exposure over the above allowable limits could result in hearing loss. Earplug or other protectors to the ear canals or over the ears must be worn when using this amplification system to prevent permanent hearing loss, if exposure is in excess of the limits which may otherwise be indicated. To prevent potentially damaging exposure to high sound pressure levels, it is recommended that all persons exposed to equipment capable of producing high sound pressure levels, such as this amplification system, be protected by hearing protection while the equipment is in operation.
  22. If your unit features a tilt-back or stage monitor style kick-back mechanism, please use this design feature with caution. Due to the ease with which the amplifier can be moved between the upright and tilted-back positions, use the amplifier only on a flat, stable surface. DO NOT operate the amplifier on a desk, table, shelf, or other unsuitable unstable platform.
  23. The symbols and nomenclature used on the product and in the product manuals, intended to alert the operator to areas where additional precautions may be necessary, are as follows:

Caution: Symbol indicates the presence of dangerous voltage.

Warning: Symbol indicates important operating and maintenance instructions.
