Introduction

This document introduces the Laney LF212 and LF412 speaker cabinets, designed to complement the Lionheart amplifier series.

LF212

The LF212 is an open-back, 2x12 configuration cabinet that offers a warm low-end, creamy mid-range, and sparkling high-end, suitable for various music styles.

Road Ready

Featuring two 12-inch HH drivers, this 4Ω cabinet delivers clarity and 480W peak power handling. It is constructed with a durable vinyl finish and protective steel corners.

Great Guitar Tone

The HH Acoustics H1260 drivers, designed in the UK, are key to the cabinet's classic tone reproduction, offering a wide range from clean to overdriven sounds.

With dimensions of 445 x 681 x 280mm and a weight of 14kg, the LF212 is a compact and versatile solution for guitarists.

LF412

The LF412 is a 4x12 matching Lionheart cabinet, featuring four 12-inch HH H1260 premium drivers.

This sealed speaker cabinet is built using proven construction methods for excellent bass and mid-range response and superior sound.

The LF412 delivers aggressive lows, powerful mid-range, and articulate highs. Its 4Ω impedance and 960W peak power handling provide significant impact and clarity.

Road Ready

Like all Laney cabinets, the LF412 features a hard-wearing vinyl finish and steel corners for durability and excellent sound reproduction.

Great Guitar Tone

The HH Acoustics H1260 drivers in the LF412 are meticulously designed in the UK to reproduce classic tones with exceptional accuracy, covering the full spectrum of guitar sounds.

Rear Panel

To connect your amplifier to the LF212 or LF412 cabinet, use a high-quality speaker cable. Ensure the speaker impedance matches or slightly exceeds the amplifier's recommended output impedance range.

For example, if your amplifier has a 4Ω output rating, it is recommended to use a 4Ω or 8Ω speaker cabinet.

Safety Warnings

Please read this manual carefully to ensure safe and optimal use of the product. Keep it in a safe place for future reference.

1. Unpacking: Check for any damage incurred during shipping. If damaged, repack the unit in its original box and contact your retailer. Retain original packaging for potential returns or service.
2. Connecting Amplifiers: It is recommended to establish a procedure for powering the system on and off. Turn on all source equipment, mixers, and effects processors first, then the amplifier. Conversely, turn off the amplifier first, then other equipment. Failure to follow this sequence may result in loud noises that could damage speakers. Ensure all level controls are at minimum before powering on and wait for the system to stabilize.
3. Cables: Do not use shielded cables or microphone cables for amplifier-to-speaker connections, as they may not handle the amplifier's load properly and could cause damage. Use high-quality speaker cables for all other connections.
4. Servicing: Do not attempt to service the product yourself. Refer servicing to your authorized retailer.
5. Warnings: Pay attention to all warnings displayed on the product.
6. Instructions: Follow all instructions provided with the product.
7. Water: Do not use the product near water.
8. Cleaning: Clean only with a dry cloth.
9. Ventilation: Do not block ventilation openings. Install according to manufacturer's instructions.
10. Heat: Do not install near heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or other heat-producing appliances.
11. Power Supply: Connect the unit to a mains socket with an earth connection. Do not modify the plug. If the plug does not fit your socket, consult an electrician.
12. Power Cord Protection: Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, especially at the plug, socket, and where it exits the unit.
13. Accessories: Use only accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
14. Cart/Stand Stability: Use only carts, stands, or tables specified by the manufacturer or sold with the unit. Exercise caution when moving carts to prevent tip-over injuries.
15. Accessibility: The power plug and switch should be easily accessible. Unplug the unit during lightning storms or when unused for extended periods.
16. Servicing (continued): Servicing is required when the unit has been damaged in any way, such as if the power cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled, objects have fallen into the unit, the unit has been dropped, or it has been exposed to rain or moisture.
17. Grounding: Never break off the earth pin. Connect only to a power supply with the type indicated on the unit.
18. Rack Mounting: If mounting the product in a rack, use rear support.
19. Liquids: Do not expose the equipment to liquids. Do not place objects containing liquids on the unit.
20. Hearing Protection: Prolonged exposure to high sound levels can cause hearing loss. Individual susceptibility varies, but almost everyone can lose some hearing if exposed to loud noise for a sufficient period. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has set limits for noise exposure. If exposure exceeds these limits, use hearing protection.
21. Tilting: Use caution when tilting the amplifier cabinet. It can easily tip over. Use only on a level and stable surface. Do not operate on unstable surfaces like desks or tables.
