SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and understand these safety instructions before using the jack and carefully follow them to avoid personal injury or material damage.
Never overload the jack.
The jack is only intended for lifting and lowering vehicles. It must not be used for jacking up vehicles for long periods.
It is absolutely prohibited to go under, or do any work under, a vehicle resting only on the jack without the support of jack stands.
Jacked up vehicles must be safely braked and/or chocked so that they cannot move.
Only lift vehicles in the jack retainers or lifting points specified by the manufacturer.
It is prohibited to modify the jack in any way.
The jack must not be used to lift persons.
The person operating the jack must have full control of the jack and the vehicle or object being lifted or lowered.
Make sure that all the stickers or other markings on the jack are legible and in good condition.
Do not use the jack in the following circumstances:
- In extreme conditions, e.g. very low or very high ambient temperatures, or in strong magnetic fields.
- In connection with explosive substances, explosive charges etc.
- To lift or lower objects containing melted metal, acid, radioactive substances, or loose or inadequately fixed parts.
- Situations where the jack can come into contact with food.
- Onboard vessels or other craft.
Inspection before and during use
Check the jack before and after use according to the instructions below:
- Visually inspect the jack before use for deformation, cracks in or beside welds, leakage of hydraulic oil, and for damaged, loose, worn or missing parts.
- If the jack has been exposed to abnormal loads or knocks, or if vibrations or abnormal noise occur when in use it must be checked. We recommend taking the jack to an authorised service centre to be checked.
Symbols
Read the operating instructions before use.
Approved in accordance with EN 1494.
TECHNICAL DATA

Lifting height (min/max) | 85-380 mm |
Jack oil | VG15 |
Ambient temperature | -20 - +50°C |
Weight | 12,1 kg |
USE
Lifting
- The vehicle and jack must stand on a level, hard surface.
- Apply the parking brake and chock the wheels.
- Place the jack at a suitable lifting point under the vehicle (see vehicle manual).
- Close the relief valve by turning it clockwise with the pump handle. Do not overtighten.
- Place the pump handle in the fixture.
- Lift the vehicle by pumping the pump handle up and down.
- Place jack stands at suitable places under the vehicle (see vehicle manual).
- Open the relief valve slowly by turning it anticlockwise with the pump handle.
- The vehicle lowers down onto the jack stands.
NOTE: Never crawl under a vehicle that is not supported with jack stands. The jack is not intended to support a heavy load for a long time. Do not lift and support more than one wheel at a time.
Lowering
- Close the relief valve by turning it clockwise with the pump handle.
- Pump the handle up and down so that the vehicle lifts off the jack stands.
- Remove the jack stands. Make sure that no one is under the vehicle when lowering it.
- Open the relief valve slowly by turning it anticlockwise with the pump handle.
- The vehicle lowers down onto the ground.
MAINTENANCE
- Maintain the jack regularly in accordance with the instructions.
- Never modify the jack in anyway.
- Lubricate the jack regularly. Lubricate all moving parts with thin oil. Contaminants and/or inadequate lubrication can result in malfunctioning, with a risk of serious personal injury and/or material damage.
- Visually inspect the jack for cracks, leakage of oil, and for damaged, loose, worn or missing parts.
- Check the jack immediately if is overloaded, or knocked.
- A damaged jack must not be used before it has been repaired.
- Clean all surfaces. Make sure that the safety and warning labels on the jack are intact and legible. Replace any labels that have become illegible or been lost.
- Check the oil level in the jack and top up if necessary.
- Check the piston for corrosion every three months. Clean when necessary and rub with an oiled rag. When the jack is not in use it must always be in the fully lowered position.
- Always store the jack in the fully lowered position. This protects important parts from corrosion.
- Only use oil intended for jacks. Other oil can damage the seals.
Checking the oil level
- Turn the relief valve anticlockwise so that the piston goes in all the way. Press down the saddle, if necessary.
- Place the jack flat and take out the oil filler plug.
- Place the jack upright with the handle fixture down. The oil should reach up to the lower edge of the filling hole. Top up, if necessary. Do not overfill. Only use new, clean jack oil.
- Replace the oil filler plug.
- Function test the jack.
- Bleed the system when necessary.
Bleeding
During transport and when in use air can sometimes get into the hydraulic system on the jack. This can reduce the lifting capacity of the jack and means that it needs bleeding.
- Turn the relief valve anticlockwise one turn to fully open it.
- Pump eight full strokes with the handle.
- Turn the relief valve clockwise to close it.
- Pump with the handle until the piston is fully out. Pump a few more times to drive out any air.
- Carefully unscrew the oil filler plug a little to release the air.
- Open the relief valve by turning it anticlockwise one full turn and lower down the jack completely. Press down the saddle, if necessary.
- Turn the relief valve clockwise to closed position and function test the jack. Repeat the above steps if necessary to bleed it more.
