Safety Instructions

Read and understand these safety instructions before use and follow them carefully to avoid personal injury or material damage.

  • Never overload the jack.
  • The jack is intended only for lifting and lowering vehicles. It must not be used for long-term vehicle support.
  • It is prohibited to reach under or work on a vehicle supported only by the jack without jack stands.
  • Vehicles must be safely braked and/or chocked so they cannot move.
  • Lift vehicles only at manufacturer-specified lifting points.
  • Do not modify the jack in any way.
  • The jack must not be used to lift persons.
  • The operator must maintain full control of the jack and the vehicle or object being lifted or lowered.
  • Ensure all stickers and markings on the jack are legible and in good condition.
  • Do not use the jack in the following circumstances: In extreme conditions (e.g., very low or high ambient temperatures, strong magnetic fields), in connection with explosives, to lift hazardous materials, or if it may contact food, or onboard vessels.

Inspection Before and During Use

Visually inspect the jack before and after each use for deformation, cracks in or near welds, hydraulic oil leakage, and damaged, loose, worn, or missing parts. If the jack has been exposed to abnormal loads, knocks, vibrations, or abnormal noise, it must be checked. We recommend taking the jack to an authorized service center for inspection.

Description

The jack components are:

  1. Pump handle
  2. Saddle
  3. Lifting arm
  4. Oil filler plug
  5. Relief valve

(See Figure 1 for illustration of parts)

Use

Lifting

Ensure the vehicle and jack are on a level, hard surface. Apply the parking brake and chock the wheels. Place the jack at a suitable lifting point under the vehicle (refer to vehicle manual). Close the relief valve by turning it clockwise with the pump handle (do not overtighten). Place the pump handle in its fixture. Lift the vehicle by pumping the handle up and down. Place jack stands at suitable places under the vehicle (refer to vehicle manual). Open the relief valve slowly by turning it anticlockwise with the pump handle. The vehicle lowers onto the jack stands.

NOTE: Never crawl under a vehicle that is not supported with jack stands. The jack is not intended to support a heavy load for a long time. Do not lift and support more than one wheel at a time.

Lowering

Close the relief valve by turning it clockwise with the pump handle. Pump the handle up and down to lift the vehicle off the jack stands. Remove the jack stands, ensuring no one is under the vehicle when lowering. Open the relief valve slowly by turning it anticlockwise with the pump handle. The vehicle lowers down onto the ground.

Maintenance

Maintain the jack regularly according to instructions. Never modify the jack. Lubricate all moving parts with thin oil. Contaminants or inadequate lubrication can cause malfunctions and risk of injury or damage. Visually inspect for cracks, oil leaks, and damaged/loose/worn/missing parts. Check immediately if overloaded or knocked. Damaged jacks must be repaired before use. Clean all surfaces and ensure safety/warning labels are intact and legible; replace illegible or lost labels. Check oil level and top up if necessary. Check the piston for corrosion every three months; clean and rub with an oiled rag. When not in use, the jack must always be in the fully lowered position. Store the jack in the fully lowered position to protect parts from corrosion. Use only oil intended for jacks; other oils can damage seals.

Checking the Oil Level

Close the relief valve (turn anticlockwise) to retract the piston fully. Press down on the saddle if necessary. Place the jack flat and remove the oil filler plug. Place the jack upright with the handle fixture down. The oil should reach up to the lower edge of the filling hole. Top up if necessary, but do not overfill. Use only new, clean jack oil. Replace the oil filler plug. Test the jack's function. Bleed the system if necessary.

Bleeding the Hydraulic System

Air can enter the hydraulic system during transport and use, reducing lifting capacity. To bleed:

  1. Turn the relief valve anticlockwise one turn to open it fully.
  2. Pump the handle eight full strokes.
  3. Turn the relief valve clockwise to close it.
  4. Pump the handle until the piston is fully extended. Pump a few more times to expel any air.
  5. Carefully loosen the oil filler plug slightly to release air.
  6. Open the relief valve by turning it one full turn anticlockwise and lower the jack completely. Press down the saddle if necessary.
  7. Turn the relief valve clockwise to the closed position and function test the jack. Repeat steps if necessary for further bleeding.
