Setup and Installation
Before proceeding, ensure you have an Aqara Hub and the Aqara Home app installed on your smartphone (iOS or Android). The plug requires a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
Step 1: Add Plug to Aqara Home App
- Ensure your Aqara Hub is already added to the Aqara Home app.
- Open the Aqara Home app, navigate to the 'Home' tab, and tap the '+' icon in the top right corner to add a new device.
- Select 'Smart Plug' from the device list.
- Press and hold the power button on the Aqara Smart Plug for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light starts blinking rapidly.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process. The indicator light will turn solid once successfully connected.
