Product Introduction
The Aqara Smart Plug is designed to control the power supply of home appliances, turning them on or off. It integrates with an Aqara Hub to enable advanced functions such as remote control via the Aqara app and scheduled timing control. Product Overview
The smart plug features a compact, cube-shaped design. The front face includes a standard electrical outlet with two vertical slots and a U-shaped ground slot. The top face is equipped with a small circular indicator light and a prominent push button. The side view shows the plug prongs designed for insertion into a wall socket.
Key Components:
- Indicator Light: Provides status information about the device's connection and operation.

Push Button Functions:
- Short Press Once: Turns the connected appliance on or off.
- Long Press for 5 seconds: Initiates the reconnection process.

Installation
Plug the Aqara Smart Plug into a power outlet. Upon successful connection to power, the blue indicator light will blink once, indicating the power supply is working properly. A short press of the push button will cause the red indicator light to blink slowly, signifying that the Smart Plug is functioning correctly.
Quick Setup
- Ensure your Aqara Hub is added to the Aqara app by following the instructions in the Hub's Quick Start Guide.
- Open the Aqara app. Navigate to the "Home" screen, then tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to access the "Add Device (Accessory)" page.
- Select "Smart Plug" from the list of devices and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Troubleshooting: If the connection fails, try moving the Smart Plug closer to the Hub, plug it in again, and repeat the setup process.
Effective Range Test:
To verify the communication range, quickly press the push button on the Smart Plug five times. If the Aqara Hub provides voice prompts, it confirms that the accessory can communicate effectively with the Hub.
Identifying an Accessory:
To identify the Smart Plug within the app: Open the Aqara app, go to the "Device List (Accessories)" page. Quickly press the push button on the Smart Plug five times. If the Aqara Hub emits voice prompts and the corresponding accessory icon blinks in the app, the accessory has been successfully identified.
Note: This identification feature is supported by the Aqara Home app and the Aqara app.
