Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the Yeelight Lightstrip Plus, a smart LED lighting product manufactured by Qingdao Yeelink Information Technology Co., Ltd.

- Note: The adapter may need to be purchased separately.

Installation Steps
- Connect the lightstrip to the adapter. Rotate 45 degrees clockwise and secure in place.
- Clean the installation surface.
- Stick the lightstrip onto the cleaned surface.
- Connect the power cable and plug it in.
- To control the lights: Tap the [power button] to turn lights on/off and press the [color selection button] to select the desired color.
Extending the Lightstrip:
To use the extendable feature, purchase the Yeelight Lightstrip Plus Extension. Align the end of the original lightstrip with the male connector of the extension Lightstrip Plus and place them into the fixing device. Ensure each connection is installed correctly before adding the next extension. Maximum connection length is 10 meters.
Quick Setup and Smart Home Integration
Control your Yeelight Lightstrip Plus and interact with other smart home devices using the Mi Home app.
1. Install the Mi Home App:
Scan the QR code or access your app store to download and install the Mi Home app. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your device.
Note: The Mi Home app version may be updated; follow instructions based on the current app version.
2. Connect with Google Assistant:
- In the Google Assistant app, tap [add device icon] in the top right corner, search for "Mi Home", tap "Link", and connect with your Xiaomi account.
- In Settings > Home control, add a device and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once accounts are linked, you can control your Mi device via Google Assistant.
3. Connect with Amazon Alexa:
- In the Amazon Alexa app, tap [menu icon], then "Skills & Games", search for "Mi Home", select the correct skill, and tap "Enable". Connect with your Xiaomi account.
- After successful account linking, tap "Discover Devices" and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once accounts are linked, you can control your Mi device via Amazon Alexa.
Factory Reset
Disconnect the power adapter. Press and hold the power button on the controller while re-inserting the adapter. Continue holding the button for 5 seconds until the light begins to cycle through red, green, and blue, then release the button. The reset is complete when the light turns yellow. This procedure is necessary when switching to a different Wi-Fi network.

Warnings and Safety Precautions
- Ensure the power source voltage is suitable for this product. Using it with incorrect voltage may cause damage and safety hazards.
- For indoor use only.
- To prevent early product failures, use only in environments with temperatures between -10°C and 40°C.
- Do not expose directly to water.
- Periodically check the cable, power supply, and other components for damage. Do not use if any component is damaged.
- The light sources are not replaceable. The entire fixture must be replaced when the light source reaches the end of its lifespan.
- Do not use the light strip cable when it is covered or recessed into a surface.
- Do not open or cut the light strip cable.
- The LED strip must only be used with the provided LED driver.
- Do not disassemble the product, as the light-emitting diodes can cause eye injury.
- This product is not a toy and should not be stored or placed within reach of young children.
- Maximum connection length is 10 meters.
- Do not bend the LED inside the light strip more than 90 degrees to avoid product damage.
- Do not connect the light source to any power supply while it is in its packaging.
- Do not connect parts of this lighting chain with components from other manufacturers.
- Connections must only be made using the provided connectors, and any open end must be sealed before use.

To return your used device, please use return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmentally safe recycling.
