Televes MiniKom EasyF Amplifier
Product Overview
The Televes MiniKom EasyF is a configurable wideband amplifier for MATV systems, featuring separate gain control for its FM, VHF, and UHF inputs. It offers independent gain adjustment for each input, ensuring no intermodulation between them. The amplifier is equipped with three inputs: FM, VHF, and UHF. The VHF and UHF inputs provide two gain stages, while the FM input has one gain stage. It includes a filter to mitigate interference from LTE700 frequencies and an LED signal indicator on the output for network fault detection.
Key Features:
- Compact dimensions: 103x103x50mm
- LED indicators for signal presence and power supply
- Gain adjustment via high/low switch and high output level
- Two gain stages for TV bands
- Impulse power supply for low power consumption
- EasyF connection system
- High-shielding zamak die-cast housing
General Characteristics
- -30dB test output
- Front panel for amplifier settings and block diagram
- ON/OFF switch for DC pass-through on VHF and UHF inputs to power preamplifiers and the BOSS system
- Wall-mountable
EasyF Connection System - Easy and Quick Installation
EasyF is an innovative connection system for the inner conductor (core) of coaxial cables. The core is inserted directly into the device, increasing connection reliability. By eliminating the need for F connectors, device dimensions are reduced, and two cables can be secured with a single screw.
- Time Saving: Faster installation with no need to attach connectors to coaxial cables. It also avoids the often difficult process of screwing connectors onto the device due to limited space.
- Reliable Connection: A collar secures the cable, preventing it from loosening.
- Cost Saving: Installation does not require additional F or IEC connectors.
Installation Steps:
- Unscrew the splitter cover to access the connection points.
- Insert the prepared coaxial cable.
- Close and screw the cover.
Benefits of the EasyF System:
- Improved space optimization: Inputs and outputs are on the same side of the device, preventing cable kinking and simplifying installation.
- Longer device lifespan: Eliminating solder joints extends the device's operational life.
- Reduced failure rate: Minimizes issues typically caused by cold solder joints.
- Optimized electromagnetic compatibility at high frequencies.
- Commitment to environmental protection: No pollution from welding processes and reduced energy consumption in manufacturing.

System Diagram
The diagram illustrates the connection of FM, VHF, and UHF antennas to the MiniKom EasyF amplifier. It shows the signal flow and the output connections to a MATV system. The diagram also includes indicators for signal strength levels: red for Vout < 90 dBμV and green for Vout ≥ 90 dBμV. The amplifier is powered by a V_LNB connection.
