Claber Aquauno Logica Series Water Timers
Installation
Connect the timer to a tap and connect it to the water system. Do not install the water timer inside valve boxes, below ground level, or indoors. Do not use the water timer with chemicals or liquids other than water. Ensure operating pressures are between 0.5 bar (7.3 psi) and 10 bar (145 psi).

Battery Installation
To install the battery, press the two side buttons to open the timer. Insert a new, branded 9V alkaline battery. Important: Remember to turn on the water tap before proceeding.

Programming the Timer
The characteristics of all programs are summarized in a list provided on the protective cover of the timer. Each program has pre-set irrigation run times and frequencies, which cannot be changed.
To set a program, at the desired irrigation start time, turn the dial to the selected program. The selected program will activate after a 10-second delay. For the Aquauno Logica Plus (code 8419), a green LED indicates operation. A red LED indicates low battery.
Changing a Watering Program: The irrigation program can be changed at any time. Turn the dial to OFF/0, then turn it to the new desired program at the time you want the irrigation cycle to start.

Rain Sensor Compatibility
The Aquauno Logica Plus (code 8419) can be connected to the Rain Sensor (code 90915). This requires replacing the existing bridge connector with a specific connector. If it starts raining, the Rain Sensor will not stop an ongoing irrigation cycle, but it will prevent subsequent cycles if the water level inside the sensor reaches a sufficient level (at least 5 mm of rainfall). If the Rain Sensor is not used, leave the bridge connector inserted.
[Diagram: Shows the connection of the Rain Sensor to the Aquauno timer, highlighting the replacement of the bridge connector.]
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the filter at the end of each season and check it regularly. To clean the filter:
- Turn off the water tap.
- Loosen the screw collar by turning it anticlockwise.
- Loosen the 3/4" screw collar of the tap connector by turning it clockwise.
- Remove the filter.
- Rinse the filter clean under running water.
- After washing, reassemble all parts as before.
For thorough cleaning of internal components, refer to the mechanical parts disassembly/reassembly diagrams provided for end-of-season maintenance.
[Diagram: Illustrates the filter cleaning process: turning off the tap, loosening the collar, removing the filter, and rinsing it under running water.]
End-of-Season Storage
At the end of the season, before the winter frosts arrive, disconnect the timer from the tap. Remove the battery and store the timer in a sheltered, dry place where the temperature does not fall below 3°C.
[Diagram: Shows the final steps for storage: turning off the tap, disconnecting the timer, removing the battery, and storing the unit.]
