Product Description

Battery Replacement

Use only new, never-used 1.5V AA (LR6) Alkaline batteries with an expiry date exceeding one year. Replace batteries at the beginning of each season. When batteries are flat, the timer stops functions and closes valves. Batteries must be replaced within 2 minutes of removal to retain programming. The timer resets the current time to the battery insertion time. Never replace batteries during irrigation, as water flow will not stop.

? Batteries not included.

Rain Sensor (Optional)

Remove the bridge connector (1). Insert the Rain Sensor connector (2A) or Rain Sensor RF interface (2B).

Functionality: Irrigation will not start if the container is full (at least 5 mm rainfall). Current irrigation will stop within 1 minute (2A) or 5 minutes (2B) of the container being filled.

❓ [no communication between timer and Rain Sensor]

Installation

Connect the timer to a 3/4" tap.

Important Notes:

Maintenance

Regularly check and clean the filter. Ensure all connections are secure.

Usage

Initial Setup

Insert batteries. After a short test cycle, the display will show as in Figure 1. If the display is off (1), press any button to turn on the backlighting (2). The backlit display turns off automatically 30 seconds after the last key press to prolong battery life (3).

Programming

1A Program Selection

Press the "M" button repeatedly until the display shows duration (D) in minutes. Press the "F" button repeatedly until the display shows frequency (E) (time interval between watering cycles).

1B Immediate Start

Within 10 seconds of selecting a program, press A-START (for Line A) or B-START (for Line B) once. Automatic watering will start immediately on the selected line.

1C Delayed Start

1D Second Line Programming

If needed, program the second line similarly. Each line can have a different program. If both lines are set to water simultaneously, the timer automatically delays one line's start time to ensure adequate system flow (e.g., Line B starts after Line A finishes).

1F Set to OFF

To stop all irrigation, press the central button P until "OFF" is displayed (Fig. 1). Then press START (Fig. 2). The program will need to be reset.

1E Manual Watering

  1. Press RESET for 10 seconds to enter manual mode.
  2. Select Line A or Line B.
  3. Set desired duration (e.g., 5 minutes).
