Getting Started

Charging the Case

For the first charge, insert the earphones into the case slots and press and hold the button on the outside of the case for 5 seconds. While the batteries are charging, the case indicator will slowly flash red, then signal completion by turning white.

LED Indicators for Case Charge Level

• 1) White indicator lights up for 5 seconds: Full charge of the case.
• 2) Red indicator: Indicates a low charge level.

Checking Case Charge Level with a Xiaomi Smartphone

After successfully connecting to your mobile phone, place the earphones in the case, close the lid, and place the case near the smartphone. Then open the case lid. The smartphone will display the charge level information in a dialog window.

Note: To check the charge level this way, you need to update your smartphone's software to the latest stable MIUI 10 version.

Usage

Remove the earphones from the charging case. The right and left earphones are marked with corresponding logos. Additionally, the ergonomics of the earphones are such that if you wear the left earphone in the right ear or vice versa, you will feel discomfort and will have to switch them to the correct position.

Note: After use, store the earphones in the charging case. This will prevent the earphones from fully discharging and will extend their service life.

Connecting

1. Activate Bluetooth mode on the device you want to sync with.
2. Select the option to connect to the wireless headphones 'Mi True Wireless Earphones 2'.
3. If a password is required, enter '0000'.

Quick Connection to Xiaomi Smartphone

Place the earphones in the case, close the lid, and place the case near your Xiaomi smartphone with Bluetooth enabled, then open the case lid. Follow the on-screen instructions on your smartphone to connect the earphones.

Advanced Connection

Connecting Two Devices

1. Place one earphone in the charging case, press and hold the button for 2 seconds. Activate Bluetooth mode for the first device, then connect the earphone.
2. Remove the connected earphone from its slot, place the other earphone in the charging case, and repeat the operation for the second device.

Important! Before using this function, you must clear the history of previous connections for Mi Air2 TWS.

Resetting Earphones

1. Place both earphones in the charging case.
2. Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds.
3. Release the button after the indicator light signal.

Earphones will reset, and the history of previous connections will be deleted.

Losing Connection

1. If the mobile phone's Bluetooth function is turned off or you move more than 10 meters away from the gadget, the connection will be lost, and the earphones will enter standby mode for 10 minutes.
2. If the connection is not restored within 10 minutes, the earphones will enter sleep mode.
3. To reconnect earphones placed in the charging case, simply open the case lid. Connection will be restored via Bluetooth to the device for which the connection history is saved.

Note: If there are no compatible devices within range, the earphones will automatically enter standby mode.

Tip: If the device cannot connect automatically, you need to connect the earphones manually.

The manufacturer guarantees stable connection within 10 meters of the Bluetooth source. In practice, the range can be up to 20 meters.

Controls

1. To answer an incoming call and subsequently end it, double-tap any of the earphones.
2. Music (both earphones): Double-tap the right earphone to pause and resume music playback. Music (single earphone): Double-tap the earphone to pause and resume music playback.

Note: When an earphone is removed from the ear, music playback stops.

3. To activate the voice assistant when two earphones are connected, double-tap the left earphone. Ensure the voice assistant is activated on your mobile device.

Operating Conditions

It is not recommended to use earphones in dusty, humid, or dirty environments, as well as in areas with magnetic field radiation. These factors can damage the electronic components of the wireless earphones.

1. The earphones are not waterproof; they should be removed when taking a bath or shower, visiting a swimming pool, sauna, or being exposed to rain.
2. Do not store the device near devices with magnetic radiation – near a refrigerator or microwave oven.
3. Do not leave in direct sunlight on a windowsill or car dashboard.

Operation at temperatures below +5 °C will result in accelerated battery discharge.
