This section describes the components of the Mi True Wireless Earphones Lite.
Charging Case
- Indicator Light: Shows charging status.

Instructions
Charging
Charging the Earphones
Place the earphones in the charging case; they will start charging automatically.
Charging the Charging Case
Use the included USB charging cable. The indicator blinks white while charging and turns off when fully charged.
Note: For first-time use, activate earphones by placing them in the case and pressing the function button for 5 seconds. Fully charge before first use.
Checking Battery Level
Earphones Battery Level
Connect to a phone; check the battery level on the phone's status bar. The status bar shows the lowest earphone's battery level.
Charging Case Battery Level
Press the button on the charging case. White indicator means sufficient charge; blinking white means low charge. Recharge when low.
Checking with a Mi Phone
Ensure earphones are connected via Bluetooth to your Mi phone. Place earphones in the case, hold the button for 2 seconds. A notification will show battery levels.
Note: Update your Mi phone to the latest stable version for this feature.
Turning On
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds, or remove earphones from the charging case.
Sleep Mode
Place earphones back in the charging case; they will disconnect and enter sleep mode automatically.
Wearing
- Remove earphones from the case and insert into ears, noting L (left) and R (right) marks.
- Switch ear tip sizes for a better fit (M is default).
Note: Place earphones back in the case after use to extend lifespan and prevent loss.
Connecting
Connecting to a New Device
- Remove earphones from the case for first use; they enter pairing mode. Place in case, press and hold button for 2 seconds until indicator blinks.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device, find and connect to "Mi TW Earphones Lite". Enter "0000" if prompted for a passcode.
Connecting with a Mi Phone
Unlock your Mi phone and enable Bluetooth. Place earphones in the case, hold close to the phone. Press and hold button for 2 seconds, follow on-screen instructions.
Note: Fast connection is supported by some Mi phones; update your phone.
Automatic Connection
Removing earphones from the case automatically connects to the last used Bluetooth device. If no history or connection fails, they enter pairing mode.
Note: If auto-connect fails, manually connect via device's Bluetooth settings.
Connect to a New Device (Alternative Method)
Place earphones in the charging case, press and hold button for 2 seconds. Indicator blinks white, earphones enter pairing mode. Enable Bluetooth on your device and connect.
Clearing Connection History
Place earphones in the charging case, press and hold button for 10 seconds. Indicator stays white for 5 seconds, then blinks white, entering pairing mode.
Note: Bluetooth signal interference in dense environments may cause occasional disconnects or no sound.
Function Overview
Incoming Calls
Gently tap either earphone twice: Answer/End calls.
Music and Voice Assistant
- Both Earphones:
- Right (R) earphone tapped twice: Play/Pause music.
- Left (L) earphone tapped twice: Access voice assistant.
- Removing an Earphone: Pauses music.
- One Earphone: Tapped twice: Play/Pause music.
Notes:
- Voice assistant requires device support and permission.
- When using only the left earphone, place the right earphone in the case and close the lid.
