iRobot Roomba 4100 Battery Pack Replacement

This guide explains how to replace the iRobot Roomba 4100 battery by providing the necessary instructions. The Roomba battery may need to be replaced if your Roomba will no longer charge or if it no longer powers on. Depending on the amount of use, you may need to replace the Roomba battery if power issues are consistent and not resolved by a simple battery replacement. Replacing the iRobot Roomba 4100 battery will resolve power issues and allow your Roomba a stronger and longer-lasting charge. No special skills or prior knowledge are needed to replace the iRobot Roomba 4100 battery. The battery is a vital part of the Roomba, and for it to be operational, it must be in good condition for proper function.

Step 1: Battery Pack
Turn the Roomba upside down to be able to see the yellow battery pack.

Step 2
Remove the battery by placing your fingers into the two holes and firmly pressing your fingers against both sides of the battery.
Lift the battery directly up and out of the device.

Step 3
Line up the replacement battery's larger tab side with the larger tab hole and the smaller tab side with the smaller tab hole.
Insert the replacement battery into the empty space and firmly press down onto the battery until two audible clicks are heard.

Important Notes
Important: Regular cleaning of the brushes is necessary for optimal performance. Refer to the manual or website for care instructions.
The bin contains electronic components. Do not submerge it in water or clean it with a moist cloth.
