Product Overview

Read this manual carefully before use, and retain it for future reference.

Charging Case

The charging case features a Micro USB Charging Port and charging pins for the earbuds. A charging indicator light shows the charging status.

Earbuds

The earbuds are labeled 'L' and 'S' for left and right. Each earbud has a multi-function button, an indicator light, a microphone, and charging contact points.

The earbuds come with size M ear tips installed. You can switch to size S or L if the installed size does not suit your ear.

Wearing

Gently insert the earbud into the ear canal, ensuring it is not easy to sway when shaking your head. Pay attention to adjust the earbud to expose the microphone during calls.

Charging

Before using the device, tear off the protective film from the earbuds' contact points to fully charge them and their charging case.

Connect the charging cable to the charging case and keep the earbuds inside the case to charge simultaneously. The indicator is red while charging and turns white once fully charged, then goes off after 1 minute.

Turning On

Once you remove the earbud from the charging case, it automatically turns on. If the earbuds are not in the charging case and are turned off, press and hold the multi-function button for 1 second until the indicator turns white.

Turning Off

Once you place the earbud into the charging case, it automatically turns off. When the earbud is turned on, press and hold the multi-function button for 5 seconds until the indicator turns red.

Connection

Automatic Connection

1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case simultaneously and wait 2-3 seconds for them to connect. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. The indicator of the left or right earbud will slowly blink white. Search for "Redmi Earbuds S" on your device.
2. Once your device and earbuds are successfully connected, they will automatically connect to the previously paired device when turned on (if Bluetooth is enabled).

Note: If you cannot pair the earbuds, place them back in the case and repeat the previous steps.

Switch between single and dual earbud

When both earbuds are connected, they are in dual-earbud mode. Place one earbud back into the charging case and close its lid; the other earbud will automatically enter single-earbud mode. Remove the earbud from the charging case to restore dual-earbud mode.

Reset Earbuds

If the earbuds cannot connect properly, follow these steps to reset: Remove the earbuds from the charging case and ensure they are turned off. Press and hold the multi-function button on both earbuds for about 15 seconds. After the indicator alternately blinks red and white three times, release the button and place the earbuds back in the charging case. Delete the earbuds from your device's paired devices list and then pair them again.

Function Overview

The following functions can be used on both earbuds:

• Answer/End calls: Gently press the multi-function button to answer/end calls.
• Reject a call: Press and hold the button for 1 second to reject a call.
• Play/Pause Music: Press the multi-function button to play/pause music.
• Turn On Voice Assistant: Double press the multi-function button to enable the voice assistant. (Note: Voice assistant and quick wake-up functions must be supported and enabled on your device.)
• Answer a Second Call/Switch between Calls: Press the multi-function button to answer a second incoming call. Double press to switch between calls.
• Switch between Earbuds and Device: During a call, press and hold the multi-function button for 1 second to switch between the earbuds and your phone.
• Mute/Unmute: Double press the multi-function button to mute/unmute during an ongoing call.
• Enable/Disable Game Mode: When playing games, press the multi-function button three times to enable or disable game mode. This reduces audio delay and latency.

Precautions

Warning

• Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the product, as this may cause fire or destruction.
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 45°C).
• Keep indicators away from children and animals.
• Do not use during thunderstorms, as this may cause malfunction and risk of electric shocks.
• Do not wipe or clean with alcohol or volatile liquids.
• Avoid contact with liquids.
• Excessive sound pressure can cause hearing loss.

Note

• If the product has not been used for over 2 weeks, charge it before use.
• Use only certified chargers from qualified manufacturers.
• Continuous use for long periods can be detrimental to hearing; do not use at high volume for extended periods.
• Earbuds can reduce the perception of external sounds. Do not use in unsafe environments. Consider using a single earbud outdoors.

Due to Bluetooth signal characteristics and dense 2.4 GHz electromagnetic interference, occasional disconnects or no sound may occur.
