Charging Case

The charging case features a Micro USB charging port, charging pins for the earbuds, and a charging indicator light.

Earbuds

The earbuds are designed for in-ear use and include indicator lights, microphones, and contact points for charging. They come with interchangeable ear tips in sizes S, M, and L to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

Placement

Gently insert the earbud into the ear canal. Ensure it fits securely and does not fall out when shaking your head. For optimal call quality, adjust the earbud to ensure the microphone is properly positioned.

Getting Started

Charging

Before first use, remove the protective film from the charging pins on the earbuds. Connect the charging cable to the charging case to charge both the earbuds and the case simultaneously. The charging indicator on the case will turn red during charging and change to white when fully charged, turning off after 1 minute.

Powering On

The earbuds power on automatically when removed from the charging case. If the earbuds are off and not in the case, press and hold the multifunction button on each earbud for 1 second until the indicator turns white.

Powering Off

The earbuds power off automatically when placed back into the charging case. If the earbuds are on and not in the case, press and hold the multifunction button on each earbud for 5 seconds until the indicator turns red.

Connecting

Automatic Connection

1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case simultaneously and wait 2-3 seconds for them to power on.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
3. When the indicator on either earbud flashes white slowly, search for 'Mi True Wireless EBs Basic S' on your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.

After successful pairing, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when powered on and within range.

Switching Between Single and Dual Earbud Use

When both earbuds are connected, they operate in dual mode. To use a single earbud, place one earbud back into the charging case and close the lid. The remaining earbud will automatically switch to single mode. Removing the second earbud from the case will restore dual mode.

Resetting Earbuds

If the earbuds fail to connect properly, follow these steps to reset them:

1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case and ensure they are powered off.
2. Press and hold the multifunction button on both earbuds for approximately 15 seconds.
3. Release the buttons when the indicator flashes red and white alternately three times.
4. Place the earbuds back into the charging case.
5. On your device, delete the earbuds from the paired Bluetooth devices list.
6. Pair the earbuds with your device again.

Function Overview

The following functions can be accessed using the multifunction button on either earbud:

• Answer / End Calls: Gently press the multifunction button.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the button for 1 second.
• Play / Pause Music: Gently press the multifunction button while idle.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Press the multifunction button twice. (Note: Voice assistant functionality depends on your device's support.)
• Handle Second Call / Switch Between Calls: Gently press the multifunction button to answer a second incoming call. Gently press twice to switch between active calls.
• Switch Between Earbuds and Device (during call): Press and hold the multifunction button for 1 second.
• Mute / Unmute (during call): Gently press the multifunction button twice.
• Activate / Deactivate Game Mode: Press the multifunction button three times. Game mode reduces audio latency.

Precautions and Notes

Warnings

• Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the product, as this may cause fire or damage.
• Avoid exposing the product to extreme temperatures (below 0° C or above 45° C).
• Keep the earbud indicators away from children's and pets' eyes during use.
• Do not use the product during thunderstorms, as this may cause malfunction or electric shock.
• Do not clean the product with alcohol or volatile liquids.
• Avoid contact with liquids.
• Listening at excessive sound pressure levels can cause hearing loss.

Notes

• If the product is not used for over 2 weeks, charge it before use.
• Use only certified chargers from qualified manufacturers.
• Prolonged use of earbuds at high volume can damage hearing.
• Earbuds can reduce awareness of external sounds. Do not use them in environments where safety is compromised; consider using only one earbud outdoors.
• Bluetooth signal connectivity may be affected by dense environments with 2.4 GHz electromagnetic interference, potentially causing occasional disconnections or no sound.
