Introduction

The LogiLink SC0121/SC0121W is available in two colors:

• SC0121: Black color
• SC0121W: White color

Device Overview and Controls

Front Panel

• 1. Radio button: Press and hold to turn the radio On/Off.
• 2. Volume up: Increases the volume.
• 3. Volume down: Decreases the volume.
• 4. Down button: Switches between °C/°F temperature display.
• 5. Up button: Switches between 12/24 hour display format.
• 6. Mode button: Cycles through modes: Time, Alarm, Wake up to radio, Sleep timer.
• 7. Snooze & Light touch button: Activates the snooze function when the alarm sounds, or turns on the backlight/night light.

LCD Display Indicators

• A: AM/PM indicator.
• B: Displays the current Time.
• C: Indicates Alarm mode is active.
• D: Displays the Month.
• E: Displays the Date.
• F: Displays the Weekday.
• G: Indicates Snooze mode is active.

Rear/Side Panel Features

• 8. Ambient lighting: Touch button to activate ambient lighting.
• 9. Battery compartment: Houses 2x AAA batteries for backup power.
• 10. Speaker: For audio output from the radio or alarm.
• 11. USB output: DC 5V port for charging external USB devices.
• 12. Power input: 5V/2A (10W max.) port for the included USB-C power cable.
• 13. FM wire antenna: For receiving FM radio signals.

Additional Information

• Sleep timer: Allows the radio to play for a set duration before turning off, useful for falling asleep.
• Radio frequency: Operates on the FM band from 87-108 MHz.
• Temperature display: Shows temperature in °C or °F (0-50 °C / 0-122 °F).
• Power-on radio frequency: Stores the last used FM frequency to play automatically upon next power-on.
• Radio timer on/off: Function to enable/disable the radio timer.
• Volume: Controls the audio volume level.

Power Supply

To power the clock, connect the provided USB-C cable to a computer USB port or a compatible power adapter.

For backup power, insert two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included). Alkaline batteries are recommended for optimal performance and should be replaced every six months.

Only use the supplied USB-C cable for powering the clock. Ensure batteries are installed with the correct polarity as indicated in the compartment; incorrect polarity can damage the device.

Note: There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same or an equivalent type.

All settings are memorized. However, the clock time may occasionally need adjustment. In case of a power failure, if backup batteries are not installed, you will need to reconfigure your settings.

Time Setting

Upon powering on, the clock defaults to Time mode. Press the "Mode" button to cycle through available modes: Time, Alarm, Wake up to radio, and Sleep Timer.

To set the time: In Time mode, press and hold the "Mode" button for 2 seconds. The display will flash. Use the "Up" or "Down" buttons to adjust each digit and press "Mode" to confirm and move to the next setting. The sequence is: Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute. Pressing and holding the "Up" or "Down" buttons allows for faster adjustment. If no button is pressed for 30 seconds during adjustment, the current display will be automatically saved.

Listen to Radio

To turn on the radio: In Time mode, press and hold the "Radio" button for 2 seconds.

• Automatic FM Scan: Press the "Up" or "Down" buttons to automatically search for FM stations.
• Manual FM Tuning: Press and hold the "Up" or "Down" buttons. The display will show "SCN". Then, press "Up" or "Down" to manually tune to FM stations.
• Volume Control: Use the "VOL +" or "VOL -" buttons to adjust the volume.
• Set Power-On Frequency: Press and hold the "MODE" button for 2 seconds. The current frequency will flash 3 times and be saved as the power-on frequency for automatic radio start-up.
• To turn off the radio and return to Time mode, press the "Radio" button for 2 seconds.

Alarm Mode

Setting Alarm

Press "Mode" to switch to Alarm mode. Press and hold "Mode" for 2 seconds to enter the alarm setting. The display will flash. Set the Hour and Minute using the "Up" or "Down" buttons, confirming each step with "Mode". Settings are auto-saved after 30 seconds of inactivity.

Press the "Up" button to turn the alarm On/Off.

When the alarm time is reached, it will sound for 1 minute. Press any key to stop the alarm.

Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, touch the "Snooze/Light" button on the top of the device to activate Snooze mode. The alarm will sound again every 5 minutes.

Wake Up To Radio

Press "Mode" to switch to the "Wake up to Radio" mode.

Press the "Up" or "Down" buttons to turn the radio alarm On/Off. Refer to the "Listen to Radio" section for instructions on how to preset the radio station.

To set the wake-up time for the radio, press and hold the "Mode" button for 2 seconds. The display will flash. Set the Hour and Minute and press "Mode" to confirm and proceed.

Sleep Timer

Press "Mode" to switch to the "Sleep Timer" mode.

Press the "Up" or "Down" buttons to activate or deactivate the Sleep Timer. Once activated, the radio will automatically turn off after a set duration, which can be adjusted between 10 and 90 minutes.

To set the duration: Press and hold the "Mode" button for 2 seconds. The display will flash. Set the desired minutes (10-90) and press "Mode" to confirm and proceed.

Ambient Lighting

Touch the "Snooze/Light" button on the top of the device to turn on the backlight, which also activates the night light. The light will automatically turn off after 5 seconds.

Charging USB Devices

You can charge your USB devices using the USB-A output port located on the back of the unit, which provides DC 5V power. The charging cable for your device is not included.

Important: The USB output port will not function if the clock is powered solely by batteries; it requires AC power.
