Check Parts Before Assembly

Before assembling the playard, verify that you have all the following parts for this model:

1x Playard (fully assembled): The main playard structure.
1x Mattress: The padded base for the playard.
1x Bassinet: An elevated sleeping area.
4x Metal Support Tubes: (2 male, 2 female) For structural support.
1x Changing Table: An accessory for diaper changes.
2x Long Curved Bars: For the changing table frame.

Important Safety Warnings

Read all instructions BEFORE assembly and USE of product. KEEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.

Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

General Warnings

Fall Hazard: To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or has reached the height of 25 in. (635 mm), weight of 15 lbs. (6.8 kgs), or is 4 months old, whichever comes first.
Suffocation Hazard: Infants have suffocated in gaps between padding and sides, or on soft bedding. Never add extra mattresses, pillows, comforters, or padding. Use only the manufacturer-provided mattress. Never use a water mattress.
Strangulation Hazard: Never place items with strings around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Never suspend strings over the playard or attach strings to toys.
Never place product near a window where cords from blinds or drapes can strangle a child.
Always provide necessary supervision for your child's safety. Never leave a child unattended.
Never use plastic bags or film as mattress covers, as they can cause suffocation.

Usage Specific Warnings

The playard, including side rails, must be fully erected and securely locked before use.
Discontinue use when the child can climb out or reaches 35 in. (890 mm) or 30 lbs. (14 kgs).
When a child can pull to a standing position, remove bumper pads, large toys, and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.
To reduce the risk of SIDS, place healthy infants on their back to sleep, unless advised otherwise by a physician.
Never add improvised netting or covers; they can cause entrapment and death.
Never use the product if any parts are loose, missing, broken, or torn. Contact Baby Trend Customer Service for replacement parts.
Never leave a child in the product with sides lowered. Ensure sides are raised and locked.
This product is not intended for commercial use.

Assembly Instructions

Playard Assembly

ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using other accessories.

Step 1: Unpack and Prepare Frame

Unzip the storage bag and remove the playard frame. Undo fasten straps and set the mattress aside. Do not push the center down yet.

Step 2: Erect Top Rails

Pull up each top rail one at a time, holding both sides and pulling sharply upwards. Ensure both tubes latch securely and each rail is rigid. Do not pull from the center where the release is located.

Step 3: Secure Center and Rails

Once all four top rails are locked, push down on the center handle. The center mechanism will rotate and lock automatically. Test each rail by pushing down slightly to confirm it is rigid and secure.

Step 4: Place Mattress

Place the mattress on the playard floor with the padded side facing up.

Step 5: Secure Mattress with Straps

Insert the Velcro® straps from the underside of the mattress through the floor slots. Fasten the straps to the underside of the playard floor to prevent the mattress from moving. Ensure the center handle remains raised while locking side rails.

Bassinet Assembly

ATTENTION: The playard must be fully assembled and locked before installing the bassinet feature. Remove the playard mattress to use inside the bassinet.

Step 11: Position Bassinet

Position the bassinet over and down into the assembled playard. Secure by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until snapped into place.

Step 12: Attach Support Tubes

Align the tubes with the front frame assembly holes. Insert the assembled mattress support tubes into the loops on the bottom of the bassinet.

Step 13: Place Mattress in Bassinet

Place the mattress into the bassinet with the padded side facing upward. Fasten tabs underneath the mattress to secure it.

Canopy Assembly

Step 14: Open and Adjust Canopy

Open the canopy and adjust the top opening by aligning the inner center strap with the two outer straps. Ensure straps are aligned correctly for a proper fit.

Step 15: Attach Canopy to Playard

Position the canopy in the center of the playard. Attach each side by pressing canopy clips onto the center of the top rails. Attach the other end of the canopy to the playard corners using the provided buttons or velcro.

Changing Table Assembly

ATTENTION: The playard must be fully assembled and locked before installing the changing table feature.

Step 16: Connect Bars

Connect the two long curved bars together. Insert the assembled bars into the changing table fabric sleeve. Connect the two short bars to each end of the long curved bars, ensuring knobs face downwards and in the same direction.

Step 17: Attach Changing Table to Playard

Insert connector knob prongs into playard corners. Turn knobs counter-clockwise to lock. Flip the changing table onto the playard and snap the buttons on the flap down onto the playard.

Step 18: Secure Changing Table

Locate velcro straps on the bottom of the changing table and inside the playard side rails. Secure the changing table to the playard frame by fastening these straps.

Step 19: Flip and Secure Changing Table

Flip the changing table into its upper position and ensure it is securely installed before each use.

Parent Organizer / Diaper Stacker Assembly

Step 23: Attach Organizer/Stacker

Position hooks of the organizer facing the rear. Press hooks firmly into slots. Connect the organizer/stacker to the playard by sliding connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail.

Mobile Assembly

Step 24: Attach Mobile to Arm

Attach the mobile to the tri-shaped arm, aligning slots and pressing pieces together.

Step 25: Attach Mobile to Canopy

Attach the mobile to the canopy using velcro and connecting straps through the hole in the mobile housing.

Music Center Operation

The Music Center can be attached to playard corners, changing table side, or canopy side.

Battery Installation

The Music Center requires 4 AA batteries. Unscrew the battery door, install batteries as shown, and re-secure the door.

Music Functions

Sleep Music: Press the SLEEP button. Use previous/next buttons to change songs. Volume controlled by Vol buttons.
Play Music: Press the PLAY button. Use previous/next buttons to change songs. Volume controlled by Vol buttons.
Nature Sounds: Press the NATURE button. Use previous/next buttons to change sounds. Volume controlled by Vol buttons.
Music/Melody: Press the MUSIC button. Use button to change songs.

Other Functions

Vibration: Press button once for speed, again for medium, and again for faster speed. Press again to reduce speed.
Night Light: Press the NIGHT LIGHT button for three brightness settings.
Voice Recorder: Press button, speak into microphone for a 10-second message. Press again to hear message.
Voice Activation: Press button twice if unit is off, once if unit is on. Voice activation light illuminates when active. Infant's cry activates sleep music. Sleep mode is active for 2 hours when enabled.
MP3 Function: Use input jack to connect MP3 player. Press button to select MP3 input. MP3 music overrides unit music. Volume controlled by MP3 player.

Use only household mild soap and warm water. DO NOT USE BLEACH. DO NOT MACHINE WASH.
