Eversource Interconnection Analysis Portal User's Guide

A guide to using the Eversource Interconnection Analysis Portal provided by Eversource in partnership with Gridtwin.

Account Creation

Follow these steps to create your account:

  1. Navigate to the Eversource Interconnection Analysis Portal at eversource.gridtwin.energy.
  2. Select 'Sign Up' in the upper right corner.
  3. Enter your email address and choose a password that meets the specified criteria (lowercase letter, uppercase letter, special character, number, and at least 8 characters).
  4. Click 'Sign up'.
  5. You will receive a verification code via email. Enter this code to verify your email address.
  6. After email verification, you will proceed to additional account creation steps.
  7. Input your first name, last name, and job title.
  8. Click 'Next'.
  9. If other members of your organization have already joined, you can request to join their organization by clicking 'Send Request' to notify them via email. Note that you can only join organizations that share your email domain (e.g., 'gridtwin.energy').
  10. Alternatively, if you wish to create a new organization, select 'New Organization', input your organization name, and click 'Create'.
  11. Please read and agree to the Gridtwin Energy Inc. Terms of Service. You will need to type your full name exactly as it appears in your account profile to accept.
  12. After accepting the Terms of Service, your account will be active and ready for use.

Organization Management

Manage your team and organization settings:

  1. Access team management under the 'Administration' settings.
  2. To send an email invite to a team member, select 'Invite a Member'.
  3. New members will have access to all projects and reports saved by members of your organization.
  4. You can view received invites under 'Pending Invites', where you can accept or reject requests to join your organization.
  5. You can also view invites you have sent to potential members.

The Eversource Interconnection Analysis Portal, powered by Gridtwin, offers tools for solar developers, including:

The portal displays various map layers such as 3P Distribution, Substations, Transmission, Streets, Terrain, and Satellite imagery. It also highlights features like Wetlands, Brownfield sites, and Open Areas.

A sample project view shows details like Feeder ID, Voltage, Utility, Hosting Capacity, Connected DG, Available Capacity, and Substation information.
