7. Precautions and Maintenance
Safety Guidelines
To ensure maximum safety when using your Razer Blade 15, follow these guidelines:
- If you encounter operational issues not resolved by troubleshooting, contact Razer support via hotline or support.razer.com. Do not attempt self-repair.
- Do not disassemble the laptop (this voids warranty), attempt self-repair, or operate it if damaged.
- Keep the device away from liquids, moisture, or water. Operate within the specified temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). If operating outside this range, remove the device and power it off until it reaches a stable temperature.
Ergonomics
Tips for comfortable laptop use to prevent physical discomfort and potential injuries from repetitive motions, improper positioning, or poor posture:
- Position the laptop directly in front of you. Place an external mouse nearby, keeping your elbow close to your body for easy reach.
- Adjust chair and desk height so the laptop is lower than your elbows.
- Keep your feet firmly supported, maintain good posture, and relax your shoulders.
- Keep your wrists straight and relaxed during gameplay. Avoid prolonged bending, extending, or twisting of the wrists.
- Do not rest your wrists on hard surfaces for extended periods. Use a wrist rest with an external mouse for support.
- Avoid sitting in the same posture for too long. Stand up, move away from your desk, and stretch your arms, shoulders, neck, and legs.
- If you experience pain, numbness, or discomfort in your hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, or back while using the laptop, consult a doctor immediately.
Battery Warning
The Razer Blade 15 contains a built-in Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Battery life depends on usage conditions. If the battery feels weak, try charging it. If it doesn't fully charge after multiple attempts, it may be nearing the end of its life.
- Do not open, cut, short-circuit, expose to conductive materials (metal), water, liquids, fire, or heat. This can cause leakage or explosion, leading to injury.
- Do not use or charge a battery that is leaking, discolored, or deformed.
- Do not leave the battery discharged for extended periods. If the Razer Blade 15 will be unused for over 30 days, fully charge the battery before storing it.
- Do not modify the battery. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
