Your Razer Blade 15 comes with a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty and a 1-year limited battery warranty. Register your product at razerid.razer.com to maximize its potential and score exclusive Razer benefits.
Your product's serial number can be found on the bottom of the laptop.

3. Setting Up Your Laptop
Connect the Power Adapter:
1. Connect the appropriate power cord to the power adapter, plug the adapter into a power outlet, and then connect it to any of the power ports on your Razer Blade 15.
For first-time use, fully charge your Razer Blade 15 or connect it to a power outlet before turning it on. It takes at least 2 hours to fully charge.
2. Power on your Razer Blade 15. The power indicator will show the status of your laptop:
- Sleep: ⍺
- On: ☀
- Low battery (10% left): ☀
- Low battery (3% left): ☀
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Windows 10 setup. It is recommended to connect your laptop to a wireless network with an active internet connection.
4. Installing Drivers
Razer Synapse allows you to download drivers and firmware updates for your Razer Blade 15 and other supported Razer peripherals. It also enables customization of advanced settings and lighting effects for your Razer devices. Logged-in settings are stored in the cloud for access from any computer.
1. Ensure your laptop has an active internet connection.
2. Razer Synapse starts automatically upon entering Windows 10. Sign up for a Razer ID or log in with an existing account. You can also continue as a guest, but you won't be able to store settings to the cloud.
3. Wait for Razer Synapse to automatically download and install the necessary drivers.
5. Using Your Razer Blade 15
Keyboard Features
Pressing the "fn" key in combination with the function keys activates their secondary functions:

6. Configuring Your Razer Blade 15
Disclaimer: Internet connection is required for installation, updates, and cloud-based features. Registering for a Razer ID account is recommended but optional. Features are subject to change based on software version, connected devices, and supported apps.
Synapse Tab
The Synapse tab is your default tab upon launching Razer Synapse.
Dashboard
The Dashboard subtab provides an overview of Razer Synapse, allowing access to Razer devices, modules, and online services.
Available Modules:
- Chroma Connect: Control center for Chroma-enabled apps and third-party hardware. Set priorities for games and sync RGB devices with Razer Chroma.
- Chroma Studio: Create synchronized lighting effects across devices. Manage Chroma-enabled games and programs via the Chroma Apps tab.
- Chroma Visualizer: Syncs Chroma-enabled devices and smart lights with media for an immersive listening experience.
- Philips Hue: Sync Razer Chroma-enabled devices with your Hue Bridge for an enhanced gaming experience.
- Macro: Create and execute complex button press sequences for games.
- Nanoleaf: Configure Nanoleaf light panels and synchronize with Chroma-enabled devices for room-wide lighting effects.
Global Shortcuts
Bind operations or Razer Synapse functions to custom key combinations across all Razer Synapse-enabled device inputs. Only Razer Synapse-enabled device inputs are recognized.
System Tab
The System tab allows customization of device profiles, key assignments, gaming mode settings, trackpad options, lighting, and power saving features.
Customize
The Customize subtab modifies device key assignments, primary function key options, and gaming mode settings.
Function Key Primary: Switch between primary and secondary keys. Primary keys activate with a single press; secondary keys require pressing the 'fn' key.
Trackpad Properties: Adjust scroll behavior, touchpad delay, gestures, cursor pointing options, and other advanced features.
Sidebar: Click the sidebar button (☰) to view all current key assignments for your Razer Blade 15.
Key assignments can be changed to various functions:
- Default: Returns the selected key to its original setting.
- Keyboard Function: Assigns a keyboard function. Turbo mode emulates repeated key presses while the key is held down.
- Mouse Function: Assigns a mouse function. Turbo mode emulates repeated presses and releases while the key is held down.
- Macro: Executes a prerecorded sequence of keystrokes and button presses. Requires Macro module installation.
- Inter-device: Changes functionality of other Razer Synapse-enabled devices.
- Switch Profile: Quickly change profiles and load new key assignments.
- Switch Lighting: Easily switch between advanced lighting effects. Requires Chroma Studio module installation.
- Razer Hypershift: Activate Hypershift mode while the key is held down.
- Launch Program: Open an app or website using the assigned key.
- Multimedia: Assign multimedia controls to your Razer device.
- Windows Shortcuts: Assign a key to a Windows Operating System shortcut command. Visit support.microsoft.com/kb/126449 for more information.
- Text Function: Type a prewritten text with a key press. Supports Unicode and special characters.
- Disable: Renders the assigned key unusable.
Lighting
The Lighting subtab allows modification of your Razer device's light settings.
System Lighting: Customize brightness when plugged in and/or on battery. Toggle 'Link' for a single brightness setting.
Switch Off Lighting: Disables lighting in response to display turning off, idle time, or low battery levels.

Synchronize quick effects with other Razer Chroma-enabled devices using the Chroma Sync button (🔄).
Advanced Effects
Choose a Chroma Effect using the Chroma Studio button (🔄).
Performance
The Performance subtab optimizes system power usage and screen image smoothness.
Performance Modes: Adjust system performance, fan speed, and power usage.
- Balanced: Default mode.
- Custom: User-defined settings.
- Silent: Prioritizes quiet operation.
Fan Speed:
- Auto (Default): System automatically adjusts fan speed.
- Manual: Maintain selected fan speed (RPM).
Color Profile: Adjust color settings using profiles (ICC or ICM files).
GPU Mode: Switch between integrated and dedicated graphics cards. Affects performance and refresh rate.
Laptop Screen Refresh Rate: Automatically switches to 240Hz based on game/application and GPU mode.
External Display: Adjust refresh rate for connected monitors via Windows Display Settings.
Profiles Tab
Manage profiles and link them to games and applications.
Devices
View game-to-device profile links and Chroma Effect-to-game links using the Devices subtab.
Linked Games
Add, view, and search for games linked to your Razer devices or Chroma Effects. Games can be sorted alphabetically, by last played, or most played.
Link games to devices or Chroma Effects by selecting a game and then choosing the device and profile to launch automatically during gameplay. Click the miscellaneous button (⌀) for the corresponding Chroma Effect or device to select a specific Chroma Effect or profile.
Settings Window
Access the Settings window by clicking the (⌀) button on Razer Synapse. Configure startup behavior, display language, view master guides, or perform factory resets.
General Tab
Change software display language, startup behavior, theme, and on-screen notifications. Manually sync profiles to the cloud (📡) or view master guides.
Reset Tab
Perform a factory reset on connected Razer devices or reset Razer Synapse tutorials.
Resetting a Razer device erases all profiles on the device and its on-board memory.

View software information, copyright statements, and links for terms of use. Check for software updates or access Razer's social communities.
7. Safety and Maintenance
Safety Guidelines
- If you experience issues, unplug the device and contact Razer Support at support.razer.com.
- Do not disassemble the device, as this may void your warranty. Do not operate under abnormal current loads.
- Keep the device away from liquids, humidity, and moisture. Operate within the temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). If the temperature exceeds this range, unplug or switch off the device to stabilize.
Comfort
To avoid injury and ensure comfort:
- Position your laptop directly in front of you. Place external mouse next to the laptop, elbows at your sides, and mouse within easy reach.
- Adjust chair and table height so the laptop is at or below elbow height.
- Keep feet supported, posture straight, and shoulders relaxed.
- During gameplay, relax your wrists and keep them straight. Avoid prolonged repetitive hand movements.
- Do not rest wrists on hard surfaces for long periods. Use a wrist rest with an external mouse.
- Avoid sitting in the same position all day. Get up, stretch, and exercise regularly.
- If you experience physical discomfort (pain, numbness, tingling), consult a qualified medical doctor.
Battery Warning
The Razer Blade 15 contains an internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Battery life depends on usage. If the battery seems drained, try charging it. If it doesn't recharge after several attempts, it may be non-operational.
Do not open, mutilate, expose to conducting materials, moisture, liquid, fire, or heat. This may cause the battery to leak or explode, resulting in injury. Do not use or charge a leaking, discolored, or deformed battery. Do not leave the battery discharged or unused for extended periods. Store the battery in a fully charged state if not using for over 30 days. Do not tamper with the battery. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
