Behringer EUROLIVE B15X/B12X Quick Start Guide
This guide provides essential information for setting up and operating your Behringer EUROLIVE B15X/B12X powered loudspeaker.

Step 1: Hook-Up
Connect your EUROLIVE B15X/B12X to a power outlet using the included IEC power cable.
Connect analog microphones and/or instruments to their respective input jacks (INPUT A/B). Ensure all external audio gear is switched off.
Power on the unit by pressing the POWER switch. The startup screen will appear on the LCD display.

Step 2: Controls
Familiarize yourself with the controls:
- LCD SCREEN: Displays current DSP module and parameter settings.
- ENCODER KNOB: Controls volume (default DSP menu) or navigates/changes parameters in sub-menus.
- WIRELESS SYSTEM LEDs: Indicate wireless microphone signal input.
- WIRELESS SYSTEM USB: Accepts Behringer wireless microphone receiver. Works in parallel with INPUT A/B analog inputs.
- INPUT A/B: Combo jacks accept XLR balanced, 1/4" TRS balanced, or 1/4" TS unbalanced inputs.
- MIX OUTPUT: Sends a combined signal from all inputs (including wireless mic and Bluetooth) via a balanced XLR connection.
- POWER SOURCE: Accepts the included IEC power cable.
- POWER: Switches the unit on and off.
Step 3: Getting Started
Volume Adjustment:
- Rotate the ENCODER KNOB counter-clockwise until VOLUME shows "MUTE" on the LCD screen.
- Mute all audio inputs by going to the INPUT screen and reducing the gain for each input (A/B) using the ENCODER KNOB until "Mute" is displayed.
- Adjust Bluetooth levels in the INPUT screen by raising/lowering the BT gain setting for a comfortable listening level. Ensure the volume on the sending Bluetooth device is also turned up.
Mode Selection:
- Go to the MODE screen and select an equalization preset (Music, Live, Speech, Club) suitable for your application.
EQ Adjustment:
- Go to the EQ screen to adjust Bass, Mid, and Treble levels manually.
- You can also adjust Hi Pass filter settings and Phase inversion.
Final Volume Adjustment:
- Rotate the ENCODER KNOB in the VOLUME screen to set the desired final volume level.
Bluetooth Connection
To stream audio via Bluetooth:
- Enable Bluetooth on your remote device (e.g., smartphone).
- Turn on your B12X/B15X speaker and minimize the volume.
- Select "Pair device" from the speaker's Bluetooth menu.
- Ensure your remote device is searching for a connection.
- Select the B12X/B15X from your remote device's menu (e.g., "Behringer B12X").
- Wait for an active connection to be shown on both devices. The speaker's Bluetooth menu should display the remote device's name.
- Bluetooth music can now be streamed. The stereo signal will mix down to mono.
- The speaker will display the Bluetooth indicator on the main DSP screen.
Stereo Operation:
- Follow the mono steps to connect the first speaker (MASTER).
- Turn on the second speaker (SLAVE).
- Select "Link speaker" from the SLAVE speaker's Bluetooth menu.
- Select "Link speaker" from the MASTER speaker's Bluetooth menu.
- Wait for the speakers to link. The MASTER speaker receives the left channel, and the SLAVE speaker receives the right channel.
Bluetooth Control via App:
Download the Behringer Live Control app (iOS/Android) to remotely control all DSP functions, including Bluetooth streaming. Pair the MASTER speaker first, then launch the app.
Firmware Update via App
It is recommended to update your B12X/B15X firmware using the Live Control app. Go to the Settings Page and find the "CURRENT FIRMWARE" section. The app will detect the current version and check for updates if your device has internet access.
Swipe the update slider to start the firmware update. Progress will be shown on the app and speaker's LCD.
Fallback Procedure: If the system cannot be updated via the app, download the .dfu file from the Behringer website. Follow the on-screen instructions by powering off the speaker, holding the ENCODER KNOB, and powering on to access the firmware upgrade mode.
DSP Menu Overview
The DSP menu allows control over various parameters:
- MAIN SCREEN: Shows level indicators and model name. Bluetooth status is also displayed here (connection, streaming, pairing).
- VOLUME: Adjusts output volume and navigates menus.
- INPUT: Sets input mixer levels for analog inputs A/B and Bluetooth.
- EQ (Equalisation): Provides 3-band EQ, Hi Pass filter, and Phase controls.
- MODE: Selects from 4 preset EQ settings based on function and music type.
- POSIT. (Position): Selects from 3 preset EQ settings based on speaker placement.
- BT (Bluetooth): Allows pairing with mobile Bluetooth devices and linking to another speaker as MASTER/SLAVE.
- SETUP: Adjusts LCD contrast, device lock, and factory reset.
- INFO: Displays model and firmware information.
- Firmware Update: Indicates firmware is being updated via the Live Control app.
