Step 1: Hook-Up

Connect your EUROLIVE B15X/B12X to a power outlet using the included IEC power cable.

Connect analog microphones and/or instruments to their respective input jacks (INPUT A/B). Ensure all external audio gear is switched off.

Power on the unit by pressing the POWER switch. The startup screen will appear on the LCD display.

Diagram Description: The hook-up diagrams illustrate connecting a microphone via XLR and an instrument via a 1/4" TS cable to the INPUT A/B jacks. A smartphone is shown connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Step 2: Controls

Familiarize yourself with the controls:

  • LCD SCREEN: Displays current DSP module and parameter settings.
  • ENCODER KNOB: Controls volume (default DSP menu) or navigates/changes parameters in sub-menus.
  • WIRELESS SYSTEM LEDs: Indicate wireless microphone signal input.
  • WIRELESS SYSTEM USB: Accepts Behringer wireless microphone receiver. Works in parallel with INPUT A/B analog inputs.
  • INPUT A/B: Combo jacks accept XLR balanced, 1/4" TRS balanced, or 1/4" TS unbalanced inputs.
  • MIX OUTPUT: Sends a combined signal from all inputs (including wireless mic and Bluetooth) via a balanced XLR connection.
  • POWER SOURCE: Accepts the included IEC power cable.
  • POWER: Switches the unit on and off.

Step 3: Getting Started

Volume Adjustment:

  • Rotate the ENCODER KNOB counter-clockwise until VOLUME shows "MUTE" on the LCD screen.
  • Mute all audio inputs by going to the INPUT screen and reducing the gain for each input (A/B) using the ENCODER KNOB until "Mute" is displayed.
  • Adjust Bluetooth levels in the INPUT screen by raising/lowering the BT gain setting for a comfortable listening level. Ensure the volume on the sending Bluetooth device is also turned up.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your remote device (e.g., smartphone).
  2. Turn on your B12X/B15X speaker and minimize the volume.
  3. Select "Pair device" from the speaker's Bluetooth menu.

  5. Select the B12X/B15X from your remote device's menu (e.g., "Behringer B12X").
  6. Wait for an active connection to be shown on both devices. The speaker's Bluetooth menu should display the remote device's name.
  7. Bluetooth music can now be streamed. The stereo signal will mix down to mono.
  8. The speaker will display the Bluetooth indicator on the main DSP screen.

Stereo Operation:

Bluetooth Control via App:

Download the Behringer Live Control app (iOS/Android) to remotely control all DSP functions, including Bluetooth streaming. Pair the MASTER speaker first, then launch the app.

It is recommended to update your B12X/B15X firmware using the Live Control app. Go to the Settings Page and find the "CURRENT FIRMWARE" section. The app will detect the current version and check for updates if your device has internet access.

Swipe the update slider to start the firmware update. Progress will be shown on the app and speaker's LCD.

Fallback Procedure: If the system cannot be updated via the app, download the .dfu file from the Behringer website. Follow the on-screen instructions by powering off the speaker, holding the ENCODER KNOB, and powering on to access the firmware upgrade mode.
