SIMPLE

Setup is handled quickly and easily with this intuitive amplifier.

RELIABLE

Detection remains stable in any situation or environment.

Key Features

Flexible Performance

Enhanced power makes the FS-N40 Series more capable than ever before. The TERA Switch allows users to go from standard to high-power with the flick of a switch. The NEO Parabolic LED technology ensures efficient light transmission.

Detect Anything: Suitable for Contrasts/Surface Finishes, Distant Targets, Transparent Targets, Targets in Varying Positions, and Small Targets.

Detect Anywhere: Applicable in Tight Spaces, Oily/Wet Environments, High Temperature Environments, Environments with Chemicals, and On Robotic Arms.

Simple Operation

Easy to Read Display: Features an innovative OLED display that provides clear and detailed information on a single screen, dramatically reducing setup time. The Bar Graph Display simplifies intensity indication.

Intuitive Interface: No manuals required with an easy-to-understand interface. Easily Understandable Messages provide clear status indications.

Reliable Detection

Built-In Indicators: Fiber Units with Built-In Indicators allow quick recognition of sensor status. Integrated ON/OFF Status Indicators light up in Green when the output is ON.

Alignment Assistance: Optical Axis Assistance illuminates the fiber unit when axes are aligned, eliminating guesswork.

Harsh Environment Adjustment: Datum mode automatically adjusts values to compensate for build-up and maintain stable detection.

Automatic Power Control: Regulates light intensity to ignore power fluctuation effects.

Interference Prevention: Prevents interference between up to 16 units.

Heat Sink: Built-in heat sink eliminates concerns about heat generation.

Additional Features

Highly Visible Indicator: An indicator area 8.7x larger than conventional models ensures visibility from a distance.

Saturation Canceling: A simple button combination eliminates saturation for stable detection of transparent or reflective targets.

Network Compatibility: Supports EtherNet/IP™, DeviceNet™, CC-Link V2, and EtherCAT® for industrial network integration.

IO-Link Compatibility (FS-N41C Only): Enables communication of live values, settings, and more.

Selectable Language Options: Supports English, Japanese, Chinese, and German for global ease-of-use.

Bipolar Outputs (FS-N41C Only): Offers selectable NPN or PNP output from a single part number.

Multi-Output Unit

Dramatic Reductions in Cost and Time: The FS-MC8N/P Multi-Output Unit reduces startup, operation, and maintenance workloads. It provides a clean cable layout with reduced cabling and easy amplifier addition without extra wiring.

Memory Function: Settings for up to 8 connected amplifiers can be saved and batch written to new amplifiers, simplifying replacement and changeover.

Extensive Lineup and Options

The FS-N40 Series offers a comprehensive lineup of Amplifier Units (Cable Type, M8 Connector Type, Zero Line Type), Multi-Output Units, and a wide variety of Fiber Units designed for diverse applications and environments.
