Wiring Diagram
TGM50-EP: For electric heating. Connections: L, N, N, L, RT. Rated 16A.
TGM50-WP: For water heating (External sensors cannot be connected). Connections: L, N, open, close. Rated 3A.
TGM50-WPB: For boilers connected via dry contact. Connections: L, N, Dry Contact, RT. Rated 3A.
Installation Instruction
This product is suitable for standard 86*86mm wall box and 60 mm european round box.
- Connect the power box according to the wiring diagram.
- Separate the power supply from the control board cable.
- Screw the power supply into the box of 86.
- Connect the power board to the board line, and align the buckle at 30 degrees to complete the installation.
Description of Display & Icons
The thermostat display shows various icons and information:

Operation Instruction
- Power on/off: Press the ⏻ button to turn on/off the thermostat.
- Set Temperature: Press the ⬆️ or ⬇️ buttons to set the temperature.
- Switch modes: Press the [M] key to switch between Manual and Leave mode. Manual mode means non-programmable mode, indicated by the ✋ icon. Leave mode sets the temperature to 16°C, indicated by the ? icon. To change to programming mode, use the Tuya Smart or Smart Life APP.
- Set the Child Lock: Simultaneously press the ⬆️ and ⬇️ buttons for 5 seconds to add or cancel the child lock.
- WiFi link: In power on state, press and hold the ⬆️ button for 5-8 seconds. The Wi-Fi icon (?) will flash on the thermostat display, and the thermostat enters the Wi-Fi configuration state.

Remark:
- The defaulted temperature of period 3 and period 4 is the same as period 2. Please change it according to the request.
- Do not set the last time point in the day beyond 23:59.
Advanced Option Setting
In the state of power-off, press the [M] key and the ⬇️ key for 5 seconds to enter the advanced option setting. Press [M] key to enter the next option, press ⬆️ and ⬇️ to adjust, and press ⏻ to save and exit.

Notes
- 02 Sensor selection: If no external sensor is connected, do not set it to OUT or ALL, otherwise [Error] will appear on the screen. The thermostat will stop heating until the problem is solved. If there is an error of sensor, [Error] will also appear on the screen.
- 05 Antifreeze function: If Antifreeze function is turned on, when you turn off the thermostat, the room temperature and ⏻ key are still displayed.
- 11 Window opening detection: When the window opening detection is turned on, if the room temperature drops by 6°C within 4 minutes, then window opening mode will be triggered. At this time, the thermostat will stop heating, and the window opening detection icon will be displayed. After the window opening mode is triggered, the mode will be exited under the following three conditions: 1. The room temperature rises by 3°C. 2. 48 minutes after triggering. 3. Manual reset.
Phone Port Operation Instruction
Preparation before Wi-Fi connection
APP download and account registration:
1. Download APP
For iOS system: Login in App Store, search "Tuya Smart", you can download it on your iPhone.
For Android system: Login in Google Play, search "Tuya Smart", you can download it on your phone.

2. Register Account
If you do not have an APP account yet, you can choose to register or log in via SMS verification code. Click "Create a new account", you will enter the Tuya Smart Platform Privacy Policy page.
After you click Agree, you will officially enter the mobile phone registration page.
The system automatically determines the current country/region. You can also select the country/region manually. After entering your mobile phone number or email address, click "get verification code". Enter the received verification code, then enter the password, and click "Finish" to register successfully.
WIFI connection
1. Turn on your mobile phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
(Please make sure your mobile phone connects to 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi)
2. Activate the thermostat Wi-Fi module
When the thermostat is turned on, press and hold the ⬆️ button for 5 seconds. The Wi-Fi icon (?) flashes on the thermostat display, and the thermostat enters the code matching state.
3. Add Device
There are 3 ways to add a device:
Method 1: Enter the Tuya APP. The main page automatically pops up "Device to be added" (as shown in picture 1) and click "Add".
Method 2: Enter the Tuya APP. Click "Add Device" or "+" (as shown in picture 2) on the upper right corner of the APP homepage, and enter the "Add Device" interface. It will prompt: find the device to be added (as shown in picture 3) and follow the prompts.
Method 3: Enter the Tuya APP. Click "+" on the upper right corner of the APP homepage. Find the temperature control product (Bluetooth + WIFI model) in the "Small household appliance" category (as shown in picture 4). As shown in picture 5, ignore the content of the page and tap Next.
As shown in picture 6, ignore the content of the page and click Next. As shown in picture 7, tick "Confirm the indicator is blinking" and click Next.
4. Enter Wi-Fi information
Enter the name and password of the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi (please make sure that the Wi-Fi name and password contain only numbers and letters and not special symbols).
Follow the prompts to the next step. You can see the device is being added, and after a few seconds, you will see that the device is added successfully (the length of time will depend on the strength of the Wi-Fi signal).
Display of Temperature Controller APP Interface
The Tuya Smart APP interface allows for manual mode control, displaying current temperature and output status. The settings menu provides access to various configurations including working day settings, week programming, sound, backlight brightness, temperature calibration, maximum setting temperature, temperature control switch difference, external sensor temperature limit, sensor selection, frost protection, output main reverse, and restore factory settings.
